I was called "big lips" once as a little girl. My lips aren't even that big. They are nicely formed but definitely not huge. Weird insult though, especially since they are a desired feature. Kids are weird haha
Peppermint will increase blood circulation in your lips, making them appear plumper. You can turn your lipgloss into plumping lipgloss by adding 1-2 drops of food grade peppermint oil to the tube, mix well. If you can’t feel them tingling after application, add 1 more drop (maybe 2 less is more). It is a natural way to plump your lips.
this cost of living beauty tip is a classic you should go out buy up all the peppermint in your area and trade with it, well at least until the fda decides that it is illegal to use essential oils 😂😂
i’m definitely going to try this i’m over 21 plus tax so i’m not going to comeback and bash you because i am a realistic critical thinker who has rational expectations of what this can potentially do for me even if it keeps a creep who is allergic to peppermint and gets anaphylactic shock from it, thanks for sharing this information and try it out on so many women of certain ages and groups and ethnicities and maybe you could find yourself a business ( remember me though call it something like mega mouth suzymint 😂😂) i need a hobby 😂😂
I’d agree, but the fact even black women are getting lip filler when we already have big lips… this isn’t about us. This do about people out doing each other with beauty standards. We shouldn’t even be associating ourselves with this nonsense anymore.
peppermint oil or cinnamon oil does the same thing y’all!! plus it’s way cheaper and so yummy actually lol (yes they really work, reapplying also helps; i mix a couple drops in my fav lipglosses & done) edit: food grade/safe oils!!
I’ll never forget I bought a clear gloss from Victoria secret and didn’t read the tube I thought lip plump was the name of it not a actually lip plumper , I learned my lesson that day. That ish was like acid. Lol
Omg. I got a gloss from essence because it had glitter and was very very cheap. I went home, put it on and my lips started to BURN. I looked at the tube again and saw it was a plumper. I love it, honestly.
Ooohh myy goshhh so u have allergic reaction to sea food....!! Well I have to.....from my childhood onwards and I have been consulting so many doctors to find the actual reason....but they all just give medicine it's remaining incurable and even yesterday I had consulted to a doctor as it's getting worst . Its not about only my lips but the whole body sometimes....i can't even go to school :(...anyway thanks to masks
this is the one somebody brought into school earlier in the year, all the girls tried it on beacuse it was meant to work rlly well and most girls got sent home bc of their reactions to it, we all learnt our lesson from that 😐 anyway have a good day 😊x
I bought this one years ago when it was hyped up on Instagram. Nobody ever showed themselves while in progress only the before and after so I was pumped! Bought it and regretted it instantly! It does work but hurts like hell. I have a high pain tolerance but I swear I felt every bit of this. Also the results don’t last very long so it’s good to maybe take a picture or use it then apply lipstick and after it calms down it’s always the best my lipstick has ever looked. Because it just plumps my natural shape, after it calms down my lips are slightly over lined but in the best possible way. Proceed with caution though y’all. I don’t believe it was this particular one but I know some use bee venom for plumping. 😘
I found it hilarious back when they first made lip plumper back in the day... It's handing a bunch of ppl something that is giving minor allergic reaction knowingly and saying "here try this" (as the creators laughed at the idiots below buying it up and for falling for it). We all know it's bad for us. But desired outside appearance rules over all apparently. Lol
Lip venom is the og I don’t know if they had lip plumpers before it or at least not any that were sold @ Sephora. I bought that when I was like 13-14 and kept buying it till one day it vanished off their shelves. Glad to know u can still find it somewhere.
A lot of the plumpers contain capsaicin which is the spicy part of peppers. Many people's skin reacts badly to a concentrated amount. (Think of touching habaneros then rubbing your eyes, they puff up) the burning is a natural reaction and side effect off what is physically happening to the cells of the sensitive skin on your lips. If you can tolerate it, kudos to you! Even some muscle rubs contain this so if you're sensitive, be careful.
Honestly, those women have gorgeous natural lips. They don't need any of this allergy causing trash. I personally like make-up, but there's a difference between just a nice regular lipstick and a lipstick that makes your lips swell.
The Milk Makeup one hurt me. Never again will I seek plumpers. Fenty Beauty is chill. The Huda Beauty one is broken, meaning it doesn't burn nor plump, lol. Not mad at that. But No plumpers for me.
Lips are the most sensitive skin area in human face don't you ever apply for do anything harsh with lips You have to understand YOU ARE JUST GORGEOUS THE WAY YOU ARE 😇😇
No your nail beds are. Please don’t spread false info sure they’re sensitive but not the most sensitive hints why we have nails on our nail beds and not on our lips
You know it's some form of pepper liquid that's in there that don't make sure lips plump up. I don't know what kind of pepper I don't know if it's Cayenne's could even be Habanero you never know
Literally when people ask me about my lips “oh did yoy get filler” and i gotta tell them every damn time is it so wrong to see someone have natural big lips 😭i cannot imagine doing tbis
Are you supposed to take the limp plumper off after your lips become more plumped? I just got one and I’m kinda confused because my lips were burning for like an hour and the lipgloss started to dry out a little
Still wondering why everyone is so eager to tell people to embrace their own beauty yet they still do stuff like this.. i keep losing more and more faith of humanity!
I saw a certified dermatologist in a video saying “Some products are supposed to tingle, but NONE of them should burn.” Remember that and please be safe out there Yall!
That's the point, to increase blood flow. Like other parts of your body, you're lips swell with blood sometimes in...excitement. that's why red full lips are so sought after
@@veronicacastillo7688 the hottest peppers you can find. Get you some lip balm that's in something that's round and flat. I got mine from Dollar tree. Warm it up in the microwave. And then put the seeds. And membrane into the lip balm while it's melted. Let it sit until it gets hard. And then we mailed it. And then fish out the membranes. And seeds. Now he's going to burn. But your lips will be plumper. If you have small daughters please don't let them use it. Adult only. 🙆🏽♀️☺️😔
My cousin in law sold lipstick products years back and, omg they burned the hell out of my lips. The liner was suppose to be long lasting...30 minutes later my lips faded horribly. $65.00 for burning garbage that ended up in the trash. Products shouldn't burn that bad, it's dangerous to little girls.
I understand the whole "beauty is pain" ..... BUT IT REALLY DOES **NOT** NEED TO BE.... EVERYONE HURTING THEMSELVES FOR A TINY BIT OF PLUMPNESS IS RIDICULOUS.....
This reminds me of the words I used to hear everyday from my mom and sister. "Beauty is pain" Is so stupid. If you have to be in pain to be so called beautiful... is it worth it?💛
I accidentally applied lip plumper to my lips thinking it was lip gloss. It burned so badly. My sisters bf had bought her a variety of makeup products and included plumper, thinking it was a lip gloss and i used it.
