In this episode i’ll be giving you a full tour of my principle bathroom whilst sharing with you some styling tips and inspiration on how to make the most out of your own bathrooms at home.

Love a chair in a bathroom but I don't think I've ever seen anyone else do that. My chair isn't upholstered but it is an ornate French wooden chair. I have considered having it upholstered in linen but eventually decided I like it just the way it is. But your armchair looks so comfy I may have to reconsider!

Beautiful! Well done! Brava! The critical takeaways for me are: - she’s used this bathroom for 11 years, so she knows what really works for her (vs. what she thought might work, could work, etc.) - she shared, candidly, what has worked well for her (so many things), and a few things that didn’t, and - she acknowledged real world budgets (“this was pricey, but worth it”, and “ this was from Zara”) Thank you!

Sophie hello, your bathroom is absolutely sensational and luxurious …..however, one thing I never ever do when designing a bathroom is put the taps on the wall beneath the shower head. I always put my taps opposite where you walk in so you can set the temp before you get soaked. I agree wholeheartedly about the glass as the buildup staining is sooo much work. Thank you so much I loved it….

I found you two days ago; the reason why I've become your biggest fan is I've never seen any designer who encouraged "the ugly fittings" because they are practical. Love your style. So clean and warm. A small tip that I use because I have a shower like yours, glass, I leave the shower door open for a while after I shower and the water dries and I don’t see any water marks. I can’t slave over the glass I would go crazy if I did.

Sadly we live in a hard water area so when the water dries it leaves behind a mineral deposit

I love how you have incorporated furniture and wallpaper into your bathroom. Unfortunately mine is only 1.8 x 2.3 metres, so I can’t fit a chair in if I want to keep the toilet! 😊
