The problem is that he’s an actual skilled animator but he just needs to spend more time planing and take it more slowly so he can think of more original ideas
I just watched episode 6, and what you’re saying is completely accurate. It’s death by a thousand papercuts: A 2 minute long recap that is literally the entire episode and not the important clips like it should be, grammar and spelling mistakes in an episode that 75% dialogue, obvious smbz similarities, and overall an episode that feels like it could’ve been cut in half by removing the unnecessary dialogue like the Koopa Bros dialogue before the fight dragging on and on. I had to fast forward through several minutes of episode 6
Kinda the same thing with why I can’t really like “SpacePea’s All Star Bros” It doesn’t really feel like anything. The over-abundance of characters and exaggerated fights, alongside the it being so effects heavy that it don’t feel special. Alongside the first episode being 1 hour and 30 mins. Feels bloated and action driven, and it’s main thing is to reel people in by using sprite-legacy characters like Nazo, Seelkadoom and Aeon Also the random power ups. Fire Sonic felt unique because it was definitely a “what-if” but it landed the way it did because of its unexpected outcome. Franco Animation is definitely one animator that does a lot right, just lacks in character dynamics in exchange for choreographed fights.
I thought it was just me man I got about 30 minutes in and had to stop. Having cameos is fine and all but constant insertion of characters was off putting to me, let alone keeping up with the powerups. Seems most sprite animators in this genre are all flash and little substance. Part of the reason why I like SMBZ is because of it's simple plot and small cast. I do believe Smash has potential but the writing needs a serious overhaul.
Yeah, honestly, "All Star Bros" was pure sensory overload, and I couldn't even tell what the heck was happening. The story takes so many turns and twists that I'm not even sure **it** knew where it wanted to go by the end.
You know, I haven't seen SMBDX's content in a while, and it's honestly no surprise to me why that is. Out of all the SMBZ clones out there, very few - if any - have been able to capture the consistent charm and quality SMBZ is going for, and SMBDX is a prime example of that. That is why so many animated movies in the 90s that weren't Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks aren't great: solid animation can only take you so far.
In my opinion, the only reason people haven't realized all the bad stuff about SMBDX is because of how fluent and good the animation looks that it distracts a bunch of people from noticing the plot holes, spelling mistakes and tracing (which smashinity is obviously known for)
It's weird to think of it this way, but SMB DX feels like the equivalent of a multi-million dollar project that has great visuals but is total garbage in every other aspect. If only Smashinity would get the message.
@@Celestial914 Yeah but I also think it’s true, and I value the truth a lot more than not hurting someone’s feelings (I still try not to do that, it’s just I also don’t think Smashinity deserves another chance after all the lies and plagiarism).

You know when i was a little boy smashshitty inspired me to make my own sprite animation when I grow up but when I discovered that he was a dirty thief I despise him every since now im 17 years old and don’t even know the basics about sprite animations but when I do unlike him im giving credit to the inspiration I got from them 💀
Up until the sprite animation started playing I was genuinely convinced this video was about Super Mario Bros Deluxe for the Game Boy Color. I thought to myself “Gee the screen crunch on that game kinda sucked, but who would dedicate a whole video to dissing it?”
I heard and feel you. I have the same problems with the Bakugan reboot. They have dialog choices who can't sync with the lip movements properly. But at the end of the day, I still enjoyed it regardless. I understand your complains with the animation, but at least it's better received than Sonic Omens.
Do you know about SMB Legendary warrior? We only have two episodes out. But I like it though. Is a great serie (that made me cry the first time I watched it) The story feels more like a fanfic setting but in a good way, the only problem is though. We are waiting on a flashback to be done with before the main storyline truly begins. Like I be honest.. I take the flashback more as the main story than what we have now. But yeah that is only because I have been waiting for that long. For the next episode.

The problem with the sprite series were all copied version of some of the scenes from Super Mario Bros Z, and other various sprite series which is what the creater of the Super Mario Bros DX: Smashinity's been doing this whole time and so many times and he's still doing it. That's Plagiarism.

Yeah, Smashinity is pretty skilled as an animator, but there’s two sides to the people who don’t like his series. One side think’s it’s basically the average SMBZ-clone. Others are of the woke mentality and think that tracing over work equals stealing for no fucking reason.
Man what's with the fucking influx of people bullying these animators, they put effort into their animations and people are just talking trash about them, SpacePea just had a bunch of people bully him saying that his series is an SBMZ clone despite having tons of characters, and now I come across this video. Getting really sick of the internet and I'm glad they have their own fans who follow them and support them. I'm also glad that they're ignoring the garbage people are saying.
