Putrajaya is very beautiful especially at night, less visitors during the middle of the day because its hottt 🌞 Putrajaya also massive there are many more to explore, next time maybe you can take MRT train Putrajaya line

KL to Putrajaya is probably like NYC to Washington DC. The formers are commercial centers while the latters are administrative centers.

It’s spelled PUTRAJAYA ✅🇲🇾 The idea 💡 was to create a Government Precinct to remove traffic congestion which was done previously by staggering working hours for government servants by 1 hour earlier 8am instead of the public 9am ; however this no longer worked when traffic volumes reached Saturation point due to bad town planning and weak execution of traffic impact studies (indiscriminate development with 500- 1000 car parks etc impacting traffic roads not designed for such traffic volumes at peak hour). This was done in the late 1990s - we were involved in some of this development - bridges & high rise in a few precincts. Bridges were built before there was any water 🤷‍♂️😂 Lakes were created artificially later. Huge Cost to the public - till today still a questionable solution (cf . Canberra in Australia 🇦🇺 ; born by the rivalry between Melbourne & Sydney as Capital). Indonesia 🇮🇩 new capital is born from Jakarta - Java’s sinking city & obviously traffic congestion ; but not many other congested cities adopt this solution with the adoption of better public transport & connectivity and better enforcement of high traffic developments with more highways and freeways (Outer and inner ring roads) & IT controlled traffic systems - Singapore 🇸🇬 & Hong Kong 🇭🇰 & Thailand 🇹🇭 & Australia 🇦🇺- Saturn & SCATS adoption to create an optimized traffic flow at non-grade separated intersections. Nevertheless it’s become a venue for both Malaysians and Tourist to visit as a place clearly detached in architecture and footprint development in contrast to the rest of Malaysia 🇲🇾; however some will argue that the resources could have been better spent to alleviate poverty earlier than targeted (which failed requiring timelines to be adjusted multiple times) in the country and Billions used to develop key and core industries for Malaysia 🇲🇾 to progress instead of our Current state of the country’s Debt to GDP ballooning impacting our high percentage of tax dollars used to serving debt charges and weak ringgit RM in Forex loss to other international currencies. A lost opportunity just for such a grandeur development that benefit the few rather than the entire population of Malaysia 🇲🇾 Some food for thought 💭 God Bless & Safe Journey 🙏
