When warm weather comes back you have to make a video of Hank giving us all a bluegill fishing clinic. Looks like he's always full of energy. Fine looking boy.
Wish I had a room like that ... Most of my extra baits are in large storage containers in the garage. Out of sight so that the wife really doesn't know how much I have 😁😁 . Never can have enough tackle ... wish I had room for peg board though .. Enjoyed the tour and seeing what Hank likes to use to ... Thanks for sharing ... Keep'em coming !!!
Its amazing how the good drinkers are now tougher than heck to get. Weller, Elmer, Blanton's...list goes on and on. I had about 300 bottles but sold about 250 a couple years ago...wish i hadnt at this point
Thanks for the 360° behind the scenes peak. Now I really have something to show the wife & sons to counter when they ask "don't you have enough tackle already?" 😜
Well at least you have a name for Hanks You Tube channel, when he gets started. "Hank's Tackle Box" . Great video I don't have as much tackle as you, but I might be able to match you on the rod and reel set ups.
I think you should dedicate a video for only Hanks tackle box , No-one does that for us before to give us idea to prepare something for our kids(just a taught). Thank you for great clip as always.
Thanks for sharing your fish cave with us I like how you got it organized, I wanted to tell you I was able to go fishing Saturday it was good to get on the water with all of Chattanooga every boat ramp was full, I caught only 1 but it was a good 1, a 2.84 spot
Matt, I love those XCalibur baits and I have a couple dozen lipless and a dozen of the 100 size square bills. I had a 3700 box full of XR50’s stolen from me 3 years ago and it still hurts… I like the Booyah and I have a dozen, but they’re not the same to me. Thanks for sharing your passion ✊🎣
Yeah IM a Wild Turkey 101 kind of guy myself! AND 101 specifically, not the 80 not the rare breed, just something special about that 101. I also wont turn my nose up at George Dickel white label! Awesome set up broesph!
Hey Mr Stefan I saw a previous video and thanks alot for the upcoming videos your going to do on rod building . I like your man cave . I'm going to pick up a rod building kit from mudhole . Thanks again God bless you and your family your pal fisherman Mike .ps that's alot of fishing baits that's really neat bro .
Thanks for sharing. I’ll take all your Yamamoto soft plastics, regardless of color, age, and or style if you truly don’t use them anymore. $5:00 per bag and $1:00 per bag to the charity of your choice. I cover shipping costs. The crawdads were showing themselves today in the sunny shallow waters here in Washington state, bluegill and bass should be close behind🍻
If your serious contact me through my contact page and I can send you a list of the yamamotos. I need to make some room on the pegboard.www.mattstefanfishing.com/contact
Can you believe it, I have checked today my XR50 and Booyah lipless: Booyah says 1/2 oz on the packaging but weighs like 5/8 in reality like old XR50(difference 0.5 grams), the only difference is the size of the knocker used in them. Thanks for the video.
love the basement office/bait room, Matt! Similar to you, when we bought our house the basement was not finished either. I have a room the wife calls “fishing and hunting room“, and I also have a room with all the “drum room“. Rows on the side. Needless to say it’s a man cave for sure. Lol. Really enjoyed the tour. I didn’t see that huge supply ofStefan swimbait heads. haha. i’m sure you have a ton of them, probably all in your boat. God bless!
Really cool tour Matt. I think it's really cool you build your own rods. So many rod company's MH is like a M on other rod companies. Or some MH are more like Heavy's and it just makes Rod shopping that much more difficult.
Outstanding Show. Waiting awhile for this one ! I still believe there are tackle shops with less. Many Thanks Matt. This is now my birthday present !!!
The ceiling rod storage was a great show! Also great to know your a bourbon drinker as well, the bourbon craze has gotten a bit out of control nowadays. Thanks for the tour and I still use the hot spots I’m a little older so paper is always good.
I'll take all those speed craws and senkos off your hands to make more room on your wall for you... it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make :-) Been waiting for this one. Nice video. My two boys lose stuff so fast I don't know that I'll ever even fill a draw much less a room.
Great episode; thanks for sharing. I’m slowly turning my garage bench area into a tackle area. Sort of a blend between yours & Randy B. Good luck at your next tournament!
what really got my attention was that many spinning set up in your arsenal, It says a lot to someone like me that I only have one true spin ing combo for all my bass fishing :). Needless to say I have 11 true baitcasting combo.
Thanks for showing us around the man cave to make us all feel better about our tackle addictions. They are right sum things catch fisherman not fish lol.
Your ceiling looks like mine! Yes, well your more organized with the peg board. Mine are all in boxes and or old tackle boxes in the garage. The boat is loaded up and waiting as am I.
Pretty awesome tackle cave! I would like to know more about your musky tackle! You would be surprised how many of your subs are musky fisherman to, including myself
Pound for pound, nobody has better lures than me....not to brag. My bench is messy as heck. How the hell do you keep them dust free? Lol. Heck yeah to the Xcalibur. Booyah may not be the same internally or plastic-wise. Don't seem to work as well. Off course, you know this. Zoom and Yamamoto rock but i don't use them anymore. Nothing can take their places. Stickbaits are stickbaits, but Yamamotos are Senkos. You really need Cowboys baby! Just went to see Tas Moua's jigs today and tried to call him out in person. He wasn't there, but his jigs are on point to me. Your room is alright. I still think they blow Ike's and KVD's away, just not mine and Crazy Alberto's. Yours have the musky stuff, which is cool. Guess what? I do too and there's no muskies here..lol. Mine has everything...ice fishing to stripers to bass to expensive Japanese stuff to custom to self-built to crappies to trout to worldwide lures to peacock...I don't even think you can find a better or bigger fisherman. Said if I do this, I will have to be the best. I didn't go looking for Tas Moua at his shop today if I didn't mean what I said. If he wants to run one, he should let me know so I don't have to keep looking for him. We can make it happen. I can get my cameraman ready on speed dial. They wanna mock me, well, where are they? I'm looking for them. His MIL was a nice lady nonetheless. KVD can answer in the comment section on his channel. We'll make it happen.
Matt, this was awesome! Thanks for the tour, I always wondered what was in the “man cave”, now I know! I would love to say it’s similar to mine but I would be lying… lol! Thanks for the tour.
Very cool setup Matt but I have to give it Hank, I think he's got ya beat 😉 thanks for sharing, very impressive! I could spend days in a room like that just tinkering with things
Wow man you got it all and looks great and awesome ! Wish I had the money and the space to do something like that even though it is small I would love to do that , Great job keep up the great work and videos !!
Love the tour, and I remember at Hanks age how I felt about MY tackle box, love his excitement. Fess up tho, where are the chatterbaits and the Ned rig stuff?
Thank you for the tour. I wasn't disappointed at all. Matt, have you ever done a vid about the different fishing leagues and their levels? I struggle to understand who is who and who fishes in each and for what reasons. Thoughts?
Thanks for your time, Matt. Let me ask... Do you have any interest in or can you justify the time to make a Musky fishing video? I would view and approve!
Great video, I’ve always wanted to walk around in there and check out your stuff. I especially liked the co-star! 👍👍I still have my son’s old tackle box out in the garage. I suspect that you’re an old tackle junkie. If you haven’t already, you should check out the Retro Bassin’ channel. I think you’d like it.
I love seeing all the tackle and rods. And my husband thinks I have too much. Seeing all your stuff got me thinking. We all have a few retired lures we hold on to for the memories. But many of them that don't get lost get tossed when they are damaged. Do you ever repurpose any baits? Melt down plastics into new molds? Modify old lures? Or are there any recycling options out there? I'm just curious what options are out there for used tackle that I might not know of.
