In this video I unbox a Manjula Pothos I ordered from Etsy but the Manjula came with a few fun surprises. Thank you to JJ’s Plants for the gesture. I wasn’t expecting that thank you. If you’re looking to get into plants now is the perfect time especially for those of us who are stuck at home self isolating. I find that having plants around helps me alleviate stress which is a huge help.

Love your vibe. Keep making videos, I’m always on the lookout for good planty content and this video was fabulous. Plus, we need more men showing of their love of plants. That cebu cutting is AMAZING! I am currently on the lookout for a cebu blue, they are surprisingly hard to find at the moment. Well, big, bushy, full pots of cebu are hard to find if you don’t want to spend a fortune 😁

The name “ Manjula” is Indian because this planted was originally created in Mumbai-India.

She closed down her shop in early 2020 when all this global craziness started. Hopefully she opens up again.

Completely off topic but I had a bf whose dad and him both had black hair with a streak of white (and 2 different colored eyes). They were French. Looked really cool. That Cebu Blue was quite a catch. They seem to be a bit hard to find, at least in the states. I have a Manjula - I also bought it not knowing what it was but it just looked so different and wavy. I was surprised it’s a Pothos. Where are you putting it? I haven’t found a sweet spot in my house for it yet. Maybe you’ll do an update video?

Hi, I enjoyed your video, thanks. I particularly enjoyed that you are supporting another plant person with her business, I think that's a great idea. Thanks also for the little tip about using plastic packaging mesh to stop soil falling out drainage holes, I will use that. I do think you put your cebu blue in a pot which was a bit too big. But otherwise a great video, with a nice vibe. Plants have been my go to distraction during covid lockdown so I liked that reference at the start. Cheers.

can they be grown in water only? ive had my devil ivy for a month and seems okay. But wondering if my Manjula will do the same?

I'm actually not sure. I know the regular pothos can do it but I've never tried it with a Manjula. Maybe i'll try it when I take cuttings from this plant.
