I’m so glad the community has people like this. People that help reorient our perspectives toward compassion and friendly competition instead of valuing worth on skill alone.
youtube age demographic isnt true because a lot of people just set their age super high if their below 18 or something, when i first made my youtube account i just set the age to like 40 or something lol

PPMD greatest melee player of all time! I’m your biggest fan and I wish I was born a few years earlier so I could have played smash with you guys and gone to all of the tournaments😭
A rekindled rivalry with PPMD and Mang0 would be the most interesting rivalry in Melee history, I think. Their energies as people (and in their playstyle) could have very stylish results in tournament and in what has essentially been a real-life shonen anime.
In melee, the moment you get a hit, you are fighting marth cpu level 1. But until you get that hit, you are fighting ppmd the god, so good luck getting that hit.
This probably just me but I don’t understand why people get so frustrated from taunting. Like I mostly just get mad at the game. I understand that taunting can just add on to the frustration but it just doesn’t for me
I recently picked up melee and started maining marth after playing ultimate for two years. I love marth but have a hard time not going for tippers and getting the Ken combo. Any advice on when to go for tippers and when not?
Wait....what about those of us who think taunting is just good fun?? I don’t taunt because of my pain and I’m not trying to be an arse. Maybe i see it differently than most people. If I taunt it’s just because I’m like “oh I’m playin kind siick babbyyy” Definitely doesn’t come from a “your trash uninstall the game!” Kind of place What’s really fun is when you taunt and then they slap you back the next stock and taunt and then it’s like “ohhh it’s game on baby let’s go”! I never thought of it as toxic 🤔🤔🤔 But now maybe I am toxic because...I will keep taunting lol. It’s all in good fun though
I’ll also point out that I never taunt someone who is obviously way below my skill level nor would I want somebody who’s wayyy better than me taunt because....what’s the point? To me taunting is for when it’s a good match
I play G&W. I've fought many a player who will taunt and quit immediately after. Yeah, I get that I'm playing a low tier, but still... You don't know how good I am (spoiler not very) I hope ranked has no pausing/quitting when that's implemented.
@@autumnbrushtail Isn't pausing already disabled on unranked? And if they disable quitting people would have to crash the opponent's game by quitting the application without a graceful exit.
@@autumnbrushtail I know. I'm saying that if you stop people from quitting gracefully through an in game option, their last resort would be to quit out of the Slippi application mid game, which would likely crash the application for the opponent.
