6.5’s not a bad engine, it can tow. We use to tow a lowboy rated for 12 ton loaded full of logs with a 1993 6.5 with 210k. Hour long drive on the highway about 60, it did it, screaming (old 6.5s sound great) the whole way. Did the same tow in an lly and it was like a Cadillac, but the 6.5 can tow.
Finally I see the OG DirtyMax again, I remember when you were removing the rubber trip on the doors, when you had the OG corvette (even though it was auto), etc
which old vette was auto? he didnt get an auto c7 until the 4th yellow one in august 2017, and the duramax build mainly took place at the end of 2016 early '17 with the 3rd manual z06
@@habanero5.054 Oh, i thought mike said when he got thre 2016 z06 that the first stingray was manual but had a trans issue so he got another one under warranty
I actually really like that he "bought" your LLY or whatever.. that truck was a huge part of your channel when i first started watching, and it's nice to just see it from time to time. It allowed you to get your new truck and still stay in your life.
Bro, love the truck content. The high country is badass. Cars, trucks, planes, it dont matter, bring it all on. You are the channel, the content is the bonus of whatever it is.
You and Jimbo go back five years. That’s waaaay back??? I have three friends that go back longer than most viewers here have been alive. We go back 37 years, last September. Good on you, for sticking with your buds! Longevity in friendship speaks for your character.
First, I love that dog! Second, so far this year, I have had three bad Samsung memory cards (all bought new off Amazon) that wouldn’t work in multiple devices, including my GM cars. I replaced each of them with Sandisk memory cards and everything worked fine. I don’t know if the Samsung cards were counterfeits or they just had bad product that got into the channel, but just sharing in case your story is similar.
Yeah him saying that kinda set me off, I mean I build my stuff I do all my own work their is something about being able to say that but when you pay someone to do the work I mean not just a helping hand but literally drop it off and let somebody do the work then have enough nerve, or audacity to say you built it, not cool at all, built not bought when he really just bought it it's sad what these kids consider building anymore what a joke
Would saying that he designed the Truck be better verbiage? I think it would sum what he does better. He accessorized his truck by buying modifications for it. Everything on it is currently from a kit right, no custom work involved? Hopefully he will get that front end paint matched to the rest of the truck.
If you want to see good c8 content check out speed phenom.he has a c8 & a gt500 & he eats superstars for breakfast at willow springs & Laguna seca.he's 20 yrs old very humble & Grace that c8 beautifully.
That 2020 makes the 05 look very small and I know that 05 is a beast! You need air ride in the front too! Or ball out on a Any Level kit! You know you want to!
Love the 6.5 turbodiesel lol. Got a 98 GMC 3500 4 door flatbed tows 20 foot trailer with truck/ cars on it a lot. Yeah not fast going up hills but flat land I do 80 mph all day long with out any issues . Oh be sweet put a newer Diesel in it but don’t got the pocket change for that lol. Keep up on the fun stuff and the builds
Damn cannot wait for the high country giveaway! Fuck!!! And man I’ve been watching you channel for what feels like forever. You’ve come a long way Mike 🔥🔥
The new trucks nice but that GMT800 Duramax will always have a special place in my heart. I own the last year you could get of the platform. It's only a half ton base model gmc with a 4.8 but there's just something about it
Love the new High Country!! That truck is insane! Itd look really nice in my driveway! Might need a taller carport though! Lol I think the front end looks amazing in the High Country trim.
I remember when Mike made a video of how to shift a manual car, I think it was a Corvette I watched it yesterday, and drove a manual Cummins it was fun. If I didnt scroll back and watch it I would of messed up the trans. Just still working on getting it rolling forward without rolling back.
Hey man! Ive been following your page for a while and your content is GREAT! Its so interesting to watch and hopefully one day i can grow my channel like you and drive all sorts of cool cars on a daily basis! You inspired me!!!
Having served though, I spent many sleepless nights crammed behind the driver in a Mil spec Humvee at 6’4” that wasn’t at all comfortable. I embraced the suck but there are way better “MilSpec” trucks that can get the job done.... Good luck driving it if it gets icy...
The 6.5 in my 96 3500 was a total turd till I put a bigger turbo on it, now it tows 7000 pound trailers at highway speed no problems. Still wanting to do a Cummins swap tho since it does struggle on hills
Street Speed 717 Great Video I think it's Awesome that Randys Hummer H1 is getting a Duramax Swap and its Insane to see how much bigger your Lifted 3500 High Country Duramx HD is compared to your old Duramax and I think your Lifted 3500 High Country Duramax HD looks way now that the paint was redone
Killin it brother ! And I love the HAT! lol I caught a good visual of it when u was whipping donuts 🍩 haa the HAT! and do you plan on and stereo and lighting upgrades on the 2020??
