Rose was at least 3/4 of my collection before I became a collector and I still love this note but it’s less prominent in my collection now. Stella by Stella McCartney was my signature scent for almost 20 years. 🌹 Rose N’Roses by Dior is a favorite as Elixir! I’m 49 so I think I’m not bothered by the « mature » tag anymore! 😂😂😂 I am mature! 😉
An inexpensive and straight forward scent is “Persian Rose” by Pacifica. Loved this when I was younger and havent found a rose perfume that beats it. ($22)
I love rose as well. I hear people say they think it smells old. I never got that then I was spraying on my Chloe Rose Tangerine one night getting into bed and I was thinking, "I think that's what people think smells old!" I don't care. i love roses. And my cats are Shaz and Gregory.

I love a unique rose scent! Siren and Sailors is definitely my favorite for cooler weather. For warm weather I highly recommend Rose SaltifOlia from Maison Crivelli. It's fresh watery rose with lots of salt and some pink pepper. Imagine walking along the edge of the sand at the ocean and the wind carries towards you the aroma of a nearby rose garden . A beachy rose!
2 of my current favourite roses are Armaf Club de Nuit Imperiale (a 50-50 mix of Delina and Exclusif), absolutely stunning. Another one is Rose America from Une Nuit Nomade - salty fresh rose, such a unique take on rose.
I never was a fan of rose, but now that I’m a couple years into the fragrance journey, all of a sudden I started loving rose!! So it’s a whole new world that’s opened up to me 😊 Ever since you mentioned Smoke n Rose over on TikTok I’ve wanted to smell that one! Exalte also sounds incredible, of course I’ve followed Funmi over there for ages too 🥰 I have a travel size of sweet diamond pink pepper and to my amazement I love it! I also have a sample of Shagaf Oud and I really like that too- who even am I? 😅 I can’t believe I finally love rose I’m so excited! 😃💗🌹
Rose is so beautiful..I love the note and is the dominant note in my collection..My most recent purchase is atomic rose by initio and burning rose from carolina herrera which is amazingly beautiful. For the late spring and summer I'll be wearing paul smith rose, dior rose and roses along with others. Great video as always! Love the selections ❤

Very much looking forward to more of your videos. Planning on buying Ajwad and Amethyst. I agree with another commenter that you might also like Midnight Rose. I adore it. Still on the hunt for a super sweet jammy rose that performs like nobody’s business. Can’t justify the price of Atomic Rose, though. Tried a dupe of it from Julianna’s Perfume and was not digging it. Gonna give Amethyst a try. Gradually acquiring a nose for oud.

Hi Olivia, I'm more into gothic and vamp rose like Portrait of a Lady or Sable Roses but I tried the original Delina and I fell in love with it to the point I had to purchase a bottle. ❤
Peut-Être Lancôme Miss Dior 2021 Lady Million Lucky Kenzo Flower L’Elixir Are my only rose fragrances. I’m very picky with notes and can’t find a rose perfume that really works for me. I hate grapefruit, black currant, cedar, oud and pink pepper so this rules most fragrances out. Elie Saab Rose Couture is a good one but I’m decluttering it. Maybe I will give it another go.
Melrose place by Ouai is such a nice rose fragrance. It is my everyday perfume. It is the ultimate “your skin but better” scent that is so clean and fresh. I get more compliments when I wear it than when I wear Miss Dior Eau de Toilet!
Wonderful video! Rose vanilla scents are one my favorites- I have a couple to add to cart now lol my other favorite is sweet incense, but I’m having trouble finding alternatives to the Skylar scent that’s now discontinued 😥

Hi Olivia, great video. I never used to like rose as a note but now I’m hooked. I have and love Scherzo, I have sampled and love Tom Ford Rose Prick. Zimmer ran a competition to get a free sample and I was a winner and chose Smoke and Roses, and I love it! Full bottle in my future. I have seen that Sirens and Sailors is sold in an art gallery in town so I’m keen so go and have a sniff. ❤ And since you asked.. my 2 cats are Angus and Kato 😍😁
La Capitale changed my mind on rose fragrances, it is so unique and sexy!! My scent of the day is L’or de Vanille by Parfumerie Bruckner never heard of it but got a decant from a fragrance group i’m. It’s the most interesting floral citrus vanilla, the spillage is chefs kiss!

Delina Exclusif is one of my fav ones. It’s on my wish list (my husband likes it on me, it stays sweet fruity on my skin) i also like Genesis ny Brandt Supply. It’s a saffron rose, spicy, creamy from the Kashmirwood. I also like Brera from Milano Fragranze. A nice spicy rose ❤ Rose of Dangerous Flamenco by Simone Andreoli is a good one too. Rose, saffron, Oud, dried fruits, date and raspberry. gonna check out the ones you mentioned in here. ❤️🥰

The description of Romantic by Orientica reminded me of a discontinued fragrance I used to own a long time ago by YSL called Baby Doll…when you go on fragrantica, both of these perfumes are compared to Delina 😉
I wish they made a rose dominate fragrance with sandalwood, caramel and benzoin or something. A new take on Kenzo L’Elixir with an amped up rose would be awesome.
That would be amazing. I have a ton of rose perfumes and I also have kenzo l elixir. The closest I can think of is a discontinued perfume- maison lancome parfait de roses. Its powdery and sweet like kenzo. Almost like Turkish rose candy. The other one is mecheri loukhoum but I haven't smelled it but may be similar
Those two are my signature scents (Delina during the day and Atomic Rose for clubbing and going out) Never have had a day go by without receiving compliments. Such addicting scents❤
Rose Pompon by Annick Goutal - I have the 2018 version and absolutely love it, the bottle is gorgeous as well. Bvlgari Rose essentielle edt, edp - the pink bottles, not the black, the earlier versions, - is ridiculously priced nowadays, but you never know, might stumble accross it somewhere in the gray market and get one for a reasonable price.
I love your descriptions and distinctions between the types of scents and the way that the rose is formulated in each fragrance. I have ONE suggestion. Would you consider using the word "Arabian" instead of "Arab" when describing the middle eastern perfumes? Just some feedback I've seen regarding this overall. I look forward to seeing more of your "note" focused videos as I enjoyed the coconut and the vanilla ones so far.
If you haven't experienced Tea Rose perfumer's workshop for women yet which is costed only 10 Euro but such an amazing Rose scent I never find it yet, so if you haven't smelled real roses yet, try as soon as get it
I avoid rose perfumes on principal because they often smell too grandma, too vintage, too feminine, but a lot of these sounds interesting. I might have to check out some samples of these, especially some of the masculine, spicy ones!
I was looking for your reaction to Ombre Rose by Jean-Charles Brosseau…but I don’t think you’ve done one. Have you smelled it? If so, what do you think of it? It’s been my signature scent since 1985. I ebb & flow in my use of it - sometimes exclusively, sometimes not - but I always consider it “my” scent & I always go back to it. I’d love to hear what you think of it.
I just got a sample of Sherwood and at first I didn't like it because it opened with what I perceived as a cumin note. But as I wore it it grew on me a little and the cumin note subsided. Oh and my dog's name is Poopster 😂

Miss I think you're kinda sleeping on lalique cause they have pretty iconic molecular rose scent called perles and you never mentioned it, did you try them?
