I’m glad I didn’t make the comment I was about to before I read this. If there were no damages this person needs some education on respect. Of this there is no doubt. Why would he damage his car though? Everything else is either wrecked or doesn’t work, it doesn’t make any sense to me to destroy your car for content unless your okay with it.

Problem is a DA wouldn’t press charges in California (where this happened) unless the damage exceeded $750. The DA was able to press charges for the SVJ windshield because the damage was likely in excess of that and also because there was a clear indication the guy used their sledgehammer to destroy the windshield. DDE had evidence then that that guy used their sledgehammer to destroy their windshield.
