I would of changed waste pipe under tray to solvent weld pipe/fittings, good luck to the next person getting that tray out.😂😂

Top tip, always remove the shrink wrap on the tray before you glue it down. If it’s cracked or chipped and you leave it until the panels are in your stuffed. So much stuff gets delivered damaged these days it’s well worth inspecting stuff before you fit it.

Just a DIY plumber,just switch from copper pipe to John Guest speed fit And I like anything that comes above floor level to be in copper tails and all John guess fittings to be fitted with collets ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️👍👍👍👍

I know what you mean, I’d of loved to of repiped it all but didn’t have the money in for it. Copper on show for me. I don’t mind plastic under floors

Decent job so far although too many school boy errors for my liking , costing you time causing you to rush things and make mistakes. Seems a bit of a theme on your installs , not every install is a nightmare . Hope you pull it back on the next part

Everyone to their own. But you asked, so here goes; I’d of eliminated the straight couplers on the basin stalks, and fitted copper from the bottom elbows.

Plastic push fits under the shower tray poor Can’t tile over bonding plaster and you can’t just tuck tile adhesive into huge voids

We arent tiling it it’s getting wet wall panelled. We just needed to fill the void and had some adhesive I’ve the van so used that. It’s solid and has done the job
