128 note awm2 polyphony and 64 note for the FM. Plenty of polyphony. Never heard a cutout with any use or demo of this board. I believe the glitch was from the recording. Truly the best bang for the buck ever.
Nqubeko do you mind sharing the names of the layering?😅 I’ve noticed that you like layers like Choirs(Chorus), Electric Piano, Flute and some warm pad🙌🏾🔥your tone is so unique.
@@trevorzim Try this and thank me later :) 1. Full Grand Piano 2. Analog 3. J pop 4. Sweet flute Or 1. Full Grand Piano 2. Analog 3. J pop 4. Pwm strings or this for praise 1. Full Grand Piano 2. HPF Dance 3. J pop 4. Vintage case If you like this and need the exact volume settings then let me know
Hey do you have any issues when you layer two or more patches? Does the sound drop because of the polyphony? I’m considering purchasing the board. Thanks!
Just in Sound patches...would you say this is an upgrade from the Motif ES8? My church has an Motif where a few keys seems to be losing some action and I was wondering would it be better to just sell it and purchase a ModX8?
If you have a Motif ES -8 the weighted action is way better than a Modx8 it probably won’t be that expensive to fix if the problem is just broken keys or hammers
So the title says 'my modx8 favorite layers'..but he is only showing that he can play the modx8. The majority asking the most obvious question which is 'what are the layers he is using' and he wont say...so whats the point of the title?...smh!
