My Mom Watches John Wick! First Time Reaction 

Such a great movie and it's awesome that in the end your mom noticed that the dog that was saved was going to be put down. I haven't seen to many people notice that. You and your mom are an awesome duo.

I love the part with the policeman: Good evening Jimmy. And the bouncer of the club. No violence, just human interaction, respecting John Wick, and John knowing that, being a human and not a killing machine

John Wick is the stunt-man's version of an art film.

Wow, your mom pays attention. I can never get my family to give something that level of focus. They think it is just stupid moving pictures. And then they complain there is nothing to talk about between us.

I love how the nightclub scene every shot goes with the music to keep the.... Let's call em npcs..... Don't notice. The first one that's off beat triggers everyone into fleeing. Just fantastic choreography and editing and directing.

The John Wick house is located out here on Long Island in a very exclusive town called Mill Neck at the end of Horseshoe road. -- The airfield he practices on is Republic airport in Farmingdale, NY..

And each new film gets better than the previous. Makes one wonder about the upcoming 4 and 5!!

Smartest man in the movie was Francis (Kevin Nash) Something I’ve never seen anyone point out is the scene at the end with him and the rescued dog walking away is the same location where his wife collapsed into his arms. That part always gets me.

In the bonus features, we learned that Keanu worked hard and did almost all of the fight scenes. Only the fall from the balcony had a stunt double. Your Mom is beautiful

this is one of the few movies that will stand the test of time. you can watch this movie 5 or 10 years from now and it's still a great movie.

This was fun. I couldn't show this stuff to my mom in a million years. Btw. the actor who (played the guy who) killed the dog, reportedly felt so bad about it that he spend the rest of his time on set playing with the dog.

I love in the club he only shoots into the chest so the bullets don't go out the vests. He knows they all have them that's why he goes for heads

i always thought marcus thought something was fishy about the fact suddenly viggo wanted john killed and never said why,especially since as far as marcus knew,john was retired.

Best thing about that guy John has struggles with, he's a trained fighter and a actor. So he's done a lot of stuff like this in the past. I remember him from the 90s with those straight to video movies.

A cell phone is significantly more likely to start a fire at a gas station than a cigarette. A cigarette only burns hot enough to ignite gas fumes, where as your cell phone can ignite both liquid gas and it's fumes. Obviously the fumes are the bigger problem, and your not wrong that you shouldn't smoke at a gas station. My point is though that most everyone has their cell phone on them while pumping gas, and nothing happens despite it being more likely to happen than from a cigarette.

funny victor tried to cool things at the gas station and the chop shop,and yet hes the one john specifically called out for his car and dog.

The night club fight scene Keanu had the flu pretty bad with a fever of around 103 and the part where John falls off the balcony is a stunt man. They used the flashing lights of the club to mask the switch between actors.

the dog in the pound that john rescues is a Pit Bull and that was the only reason for the dog to be put down is his breed but john rescues him

28:55 Keymaker actor isn’t the only Matrix reunion in John Wick. Viggo’s head of security, the only guy in Red Circle who really gave John a serious fight, was one of the “upgraded” agents from Matrix 2 & 3. Agent Johnson, I think. Or was it Jameson? I don’t remember.

Marcus took the contact to protect john it was open so other could kill him and Marcus was watching him to make sure he didn't die

Keanu did all his own stunts (except the fall on the dance floor). He trained so well in gunmanship that he competes. The coined the phrase Gun-Fu to describe the action scenes...

im starting to fall in love with reactions to this movie..... Last movie my father and I watched together... it is a near perfect 10 in every way. Plus I dont like actors that much but if I met "a cool breeze of a mountain", i might shit myself

I've seen a lot of reactions to this movie and so few pick up on the "To be put down" on the dog's cage at the end. John is literally saving the dog by taking it (also why they probably don't worry too much about a missing dog). Another point though, while the other dogs were barking, one whimpered. It's what draws John's attention, that in the middle of this, there is a scared dog. That's the same dog.

Mama is badass...old school...when things actually got done. Mothers are HOLY ground, no one touches or messes with mothers!

The director had to fight the studio execs to keep the puppy death scene in the movie. There was some confusion as to whether or not the puppy was placed in front of JW as a final act of cruelty or she crawled over. The camera angle wasn't convincing enough, IMO, and had they gone with an overhead shot of the trail of the puppy's last walk, it would have put the argument to rest.

Couple notes for you.... each time someone says "oh" in the movie it's a homage to the Matrix "woah", in the Red Circle club the Red Shirts were intentional reference to Original Star Trek's Red Shirts.

So John cleans his own home, but calls the "Dinner Reservation" later. Liam Neison had a "Set of Skills". John is pure death made flesh. So to lay out the Story. John lives in the Hamptons. Orellio is in Queens. The last part is in NYC. I will be seeing you John. 4 movies so far with 5 greenlit.

This movie is awesome

Everything in this movie combat is legit. The hand to hand in its various forms, the gun fights, including reloads.... its all so good. Ms. Perkins does a text book Rear Naked Choke that should have put him out in seconds if it wasnt for the rifle shot near her.

The saddest part is that if you notice there is a blood trail near the dog. This means that the dog walked till Kaneau's body before dying. (Sorry aobut my bad english)

When he pointed the gun to the bouncer, he asked if he lost weight. That whole reference was John getting information of how many guards where inside. 60 kilograms meaning 60 guards.

The only thing I disliked about this movie was the fact that Vigo blamed everyone else but himself for his sons stupidity and death. Had he just been a competent parent and told his son about who and what John Wick was, what belongs to him, why he's not to be fucked with and what he looks like, his son Iosef would still be alive.

loved seeing you guys react to John Wick. Cant wait for reactions to 2 and 3. This film series has been one of my absolute favorites. The action in the film series is *chef's kiss*. Kudos to the whole production team for the films. They've done amazing work. Out of curiosity, would you be interested in doing reactions to Asian foreign films at all? I'd love to see you and your mom or dad react to Korean films like Oldboy (not the american remake) or The Witch Part 1 (the sequel came out last weekend), to name a few. If you guys havent seen those. If you like, I could give you my personal recommendation list later on. There's also great Asian films like The Raid: Redemption and its sequel: Raid 2. Also from Japan: Battle Royale, Ringu, Ju-on. And the Jackie Chan Drunken Master films. :)
