@@shawswervoo in my opinion Punk did for Drew what Bret Hart did for Stone Cold. Took someone that had all the tools and ability, and got into a blood feud with them to get them all the way over to a REAL main eventer.
I agree that Punk could have screwed Drew during the match and somebody else could have won it. That way they add more heat to the feud, but don't diminish the value of the MITB briefcase.
I don't mind the briefcase getting wasted this year. I don't think it needs to be a dragged out thing EVERY year. That being said the show was carried by Punk and Drew, Zayn vs Bron, and the six man tag match. They're kinda elongating storylines at the moment
Agreed. I just didn’t like how they made Drew look stupid by winning it just for him to cash it in & get screwed which you could’ve had punk screw him over during the ladder match, that was my main issue. But the main event was solid & Cody getting pinned was a right move, you got to have your champions lose sometimes even if it’s non title.
