I have my "financial notebook" where I write my financial goals, to do list, budget even my meal plans kasi I want all in one na. Pero one thing I learned is to always segregate your accounts per purpose. Based on experience mahirap mag track ng cash flow just by checking each and every transactions. More of these vids pls. I remember mama ko ganyan before madami cyang wallet for savings, utility etc. I'm proud na ang income ng parents ko when growing up is from my father's hard earn money as a jeepney driver. Nakapagaral pa kami ng brother ko sa private school in college. Thanks papa and mama!
I’m 13 and I have been taught that money is important because it buys freedom and I want to be financially stable enough to take care of my Mom because she means a lot.
So far I only have an emergency fund and sinking funds account. My next goal is to invest but I need to increase my income kasi sakto lng ang sweldo ko for my expenses after I set aside some of it for savings. But will probably try Ginvest if it works for me. I found credit cards to be useful too, AS LONG AS may cash ka na equivalent sa igagastos. Maganda kasi sya, mas madali i manage expenses, then sa end of month nalang bayaran lahat. 👍
Question. Hindi ba mas mahal siya gamitin compared sa mag cash nalang diretso? Salamat sa sagot. Di ko kasi gets masyado ang ganito pero marami ako mabasa or marinig na mas magka utang2x dahil sa credit card
@@syvallespin6560 nope. As long bayaran mo siya on time you're not going to incur any interest. Saktuhan mo lang ng promo na walang annual fee or kung meron man. Sayang din kasi yung mga rewards and mga vouchers na pwede ma earn.
Personally, na-ooverwhelm ako sa dami ng kailangang paglaanan ng savings. Career-wise, I'm still a young professional, but age-wise, nasa marrying age na. I feel that I have to save for my future house, car, a big business I have in mind, etc... Tapos may retirement pa! I know with little steps I'll eventually accomplish those, pero nakakalula lang talaga minsan. :) Looking forward to your retirement savings video. Since I'm just starting out with my career, and may potential pang umangat ang lifestyle, hindi ko talaga alam kung anong level of funds ba yung need ko. Also, do you account for inflation? Ako po, gusto ko po ng tutorial on the basic formulas para po ma-customize yung sheets. I tried using the sheet ms. thea gave us way back Dec2020 pero masyadong broad para sa amount ng salary na meron ako for now huhu as much as i want to increase my salary, no opportunity has been kind to me yet recently (na-scam pa nga to the point na simot saving kswkswkshuhu) pero ayun po. Gusto ko po matuto para di lang po maging dependent kay ms. thea sa sheets hehehe may basic worksheet knowledge naman po ako pero sa formulas po mga vlookup lang po usual na ginagamit ko hehehe gusto ko po talaga matuto salamat po palagi ms thea, been a silent supporter since start of this year, til now yiee hahaha

Dami ko talaga natutunan sa mga videos nyo and very realistic sya. Parang similar sa envelope system yung pag segregate ng mga expenses. Basically saken 20% for savings 10% for investment then 50% needs and 20% for wants. Pero I'm still working kung anu pa ok pa na % ng bawat isa

We have a similar system po. :) I use an accordion-style envelope to keep my cash, Tonik and CIMB for emergency funds, BDO Securities for my stock portfolio, Sunlife for my mutual funds (but I do NOT recommend it), and BDO and Landbank for my day-to-day accounts. :) I have not been using a credit card here in the Philippines because my expenses are not high enough to warrant perks, and we're moving abroad soon anyway.

Sakin pinasimple ko nlng po 50% savings & 50% expenses. Sa savings ko 50% nun savings & emergency fund and 50% investment & travel. Ung sa expenses kasi mahirap pababain ng 50% since ako tumutulong sa parents ko(wlang work) and nagbabayad ako ng tuition fee ko na ginastos ng tita ko. Akala ko bigay ung pala need ko bayaran kaya medj mahirap. May isa lang akong small na negosyo ung cash in cash out ng gcash kahit papaano nakaka 2k din ako dun per month. And i do buy and sell ng old coins pero ngayon hndi sya kalakasan so parang investments ko nlng tumataas nmn presyo habang tumatagal :)
