Hi Soumi, it's good to know that you have answered most of the questions which generally occurred. Just wanted to know what will be the ideal package to get moved in Singapore? 8500 SGD per month sufficient?
Transport does not cost 10 dollars per day. If you take public transport, it will cost between 2-5 dollars maximum unless the only thing you have been doing the whole day was going from transport to transport. If you take a cab, it cost on average 20 dollars. Of course it can be lower of higher based on the difference. Source: I'm a Singaporean
I just sell far OTM options in Nifty and Banknifty & earn moeny on my money. Its a great way to compound our money. It takes a year or two to learn how to do adjustments in case of a big movement but trust me its worth giving our time into it.
3500$ rent and you say it is not much … less than 5% foreigners pay more than 3k rent in Singapore … u have been made to believe by the agent … I am staying in Singapore for over a decade and believe me , 3.5k is too high even taking into account the location …U can get a very good 5 room hdb for 2.3k …
Ya but I don’t live in an HDb :) depends I guess on what u want. I don’t think for condo prices this is too high. Happy to be proven wrong when I move next :)
@@InsiderGyaan 80% of the population are living in hdb’s only … condos are already considered premium accommodation.. that’s why I said 3500 is not the norm or nominal rate in sg … Most Indians working there rent house between 1800-2500 …. Well if u can afford then all good :)
Thank you for making a very informative video on SG. I wanted to check on educational expenses a couple would would incur on their kids primary education.
Hi Soumi, If we clear the job interview and get offered a job but in the contract role (12months) is it safe to consider. PS: I dint go through any consultancy...and have directly searched and interviewed job via LinkedIn job posting. Also they did not mention about the contract role at the beginning.
@@InsiderGyaan Thanks for your swift reply :) Is it advisable to negotiate asking for a full-time or should I just consider it as a opening to step into Singapore.
Hi ..hope you are doing well I saw your video and it's very informative for people like us who are planning to come and explore , I just wanted to check if there is any genuine website or vendor wherein we can check for the rented accommodation..please advise what would be the best location for consideration. Thanks
Hi mam thanks for the info .. i m getting a job in singapore i m from india so wanted to know how mucb should be a salary for ops manager n how much it will.cost to live with 2 kids who are around 3 year
Mam just now you told us that your monthly rent of your apartment is 3500 SGD , and one my knowing person is there , His/her salary is only 800 SGD , So can you please tell me what is the exact salary of Singaporean companies giving to us and yes it's really fact the salary actually depends on our work So what's your work mam My age is 32 years so can I apply for that??
Hi Soumi!! I've been watching all your YT videos for a while, they're really nice and informative! I too have a finance background and your video about investment banking was indeed interesting and relateable. Is MBA from SMU worth it if I want to make a career in IB based in Singapore? And how is overall IB industry there if I want front office role?
SMU is one of the top 2 here...so definitely great for MBA. IB roles are always few everywhere, but once you make it, you are handling entire south east asia from here. Definitely interesting role!
@@InsiderGyaan You should make a video on how to invest in Chinese market and your views on China Markets. I am sure it will give a lot of insights as many of us are allien to it.
Hlo sister,, my brother arrived in Singapore,, he reached in his hotel,, now what he will do,, can u please help,,.. Because he has no idea.,, and m vry worried,, please anyone help,,
Hello mam, I am searching job through Job street portal, is it possible to get job through it ( I got three years of work experience in investment banking domain) or else shall I try through student visa? Please suggest me your opinion!
@@InsiderGyaan it’s also a matter of the size of the rent as a proportion of your income. It’s clear you make a wage that’s way above average (15-20K per month?) so this rent I’m sure seems reasonable to you. But for most Singaporeans and singaporean residents, the salaries are not that high, hence the comments 😉
Hi Ma'am, I really like your vlogging channel and this channel. You and Sir are doing great job. Keep it up. (PS- I feel your channel is highly underrated but best wishes for future)
So very pathetic, you need to come to Singapore to Survive. You said you come from Hydrabad, with all your education .India is not able to give you a job,I'm sure cleaning job is available Mam
o yes, there were jobs available, but because i could get one in SG, someone in India might have been fortunate to take those up, and support their family :) May be your research skills are a bit pathetic, because I am not from Hyderabad :)
@@InsiderGyaan We in Singapore survived by taking any jobs, .we are not choosy, and demanding that is how we in Singapore survived. So please .we are happy.
Saw your profile on LinkedIn ...want to ask how long does it take to get a interview call from Deloitte after you get a referral ? ...I have applied to Deloitte Hyderabad
@@InsiderGyaan I got a referral from one of the Hr this Wednesday I am out of job I am cold mailing everyone I am not getting any response so wanted to know how much time it takes
