BMW offers to buy it back for 37 lakhs because they are basically saying the vehicle has depreciated by 55% in 4 yrs. Which is par for the course for vehicles like this, but they are going to sell it for 45lakhs + in their second hand approved plan. It's a stupid financial decision unless you have afford to loss that depreciation without much cost to your finances.

Actually, I was thinking you bought it by paying full cash. If some of my friends tell me i bought one apple products. I was having a feel of waste of money. Even if I have money to buy one Bmw, I will never go for a new one. Depreciation costs matters to me. In your case you have love to machines which I am not having. If somebody wants to have a feel of driving, renting it is better than buying for these models.
I realized a fun fact: everything I buy out of excitement loses its appeal in 1-2 months. Now, if I'm eager to buy a specific car, I fly to Dubai, rent one, drive it until the excitement fades, and then return it. It is working wonders for me
Interest is very important factor , literally i have relatives who spend crores in parties and weddings ( in 10s of cr ) but dont get a car worth a 1-2cr . I wish you a very good for ur future buddy ! Keep growing

Hi simran a bit of fact finding - some part in your video you said that you were paying 45k emi for seltos so why not pay 75k emi for x4. Another part in video you said you got 18 lakhs from selling your seltos, it means you had put up 18lakhs upwards then why were you paying an emi of 45k. If you are paying an emi of 45k on seltos that would mean you have put up approx 3-4 lakhs on the top model rest being financed. Selling your seltos would need you to square off your primary outstanding of approx 15-16 lakhs, so you would be left with approx 2-3 lakhs. How is 18lakh consider as down payment in you x4 buy?
Thanks for the detailed video. Just one quick question - does the bmw 360 plan also include the registration charges or is that we need to pay registration charges in full and then make 25 to 35 percent additional down payment as per the bmw 360 plan to get to the 75k EMI?
Buying a BMW with the limited down payment shows that it is not the right time buying the car. I don't say you can't afford it, but I would say it is not right time.

I can buy this car in full cash without making a slightest dent in my current lifestyle. But times are volatile and economy is unpredictable so I won't. One should not spend blindly on depreciating things just because its your passion and YOLO.
