@@tomyt3 press the one to "look left" and the one to "look right" at the same time, you dont even have to set it in the settings, just try it while you are driving
Please guys can someone help me I just upgraded my PS4 game ACC to PS5 but I can’t get my fan attack a sports F1 Wheel to work I went into settings I just can’t work it out
INFO: In ACC you can assign "short" and "long press". Let's say the "short press" Increase TC, "long press" the same button Decrease TC. For me, this is useful for lights. I have short press for blinking and long press for cycling between lights (OFF/ON/ENDU). Regarding video: "The most important" for every button. :)
@@subtomefornoreason9205 I found the long press prompt. There is a drop down menu in some of the control bindings. Click that and it gives you more options for long press
Your videos are the best! Not only does this video explain the button positioning on the wheel, but also why you need those functions as well in game. This video also explained simply why you would want to adjust your wheel rotation. Very helpful for us beginners, thanks!
I don't know if something has changed since this video was made, but acc will set your steering lock automatically to the car your are driving. You just have to have your rotation in the wheel set at or above the degrees of rotation of the car u r driving
Great minds think alike haha. I have the same setup and our button assignment is almost identical 👍. These Formula-V2 wheels are awesome. Great video Jardier, keep em coming bro. Thank you for everything you've done for the Sim Racing community, much appreciated.
Hi bro, question, how’s formula v2.5 comfortable for big guys, because I saw opinions that this size of wheel is to small for big guys, and shoulders pain coming shortly, is it true? Thx
Hi mate! Great work with your channel ;) 👌🏼 I’ve seen in some of your streams what looks like you have one hot key for general timetable HUD, I have only seen configurable the “cycle” HUD up and down, (as hitting F2) but bot a specific screen (I’d love to have general timetable in a “toggle” on/off button) Thanks In advance! Btw, crazy good race yesterday at imola, lot of fun, INE of the greatest races ever ;)
Interesting little vid, thanks. I will look out more closely for TC changing on your streams. Also like the T-shirt. Although I don’t think many of my friends would understand it 😁
Rewatching this video, haha was it not better to turn the camera's around? So the wheel on the bigger screen and car on the smaller one? It's hard to see where the buttons are now🙈
Great video. I finally bought. My first sim rig and slowly making my way off console to purchase and play via Pc. Hoping to see you and others online in the upcoming months. Cheers
Hello Jardier !! could you do something similar but for FFB ? i have a clubsport 2.5 base and after seeing alot of videos still dont know what is the dynamic ffb in fanlab and if i should have it turned on or not XD
Glad you said you use 720 degrees on your wheel. I tried 900 which a lot of people use but I cannot get around 1st turn in Monza without completely crossing my arms. Have been using 650, but will try 720 tomorrow. I love your vids, I always end up learning loads. So thanks very much.
Aris.Drive says leave it on the same steering lock, as in the windows settings, ususually 1040 than alter in the car settings / mechanical grip / steer ratio.... the lower the more sensible (ad grinding tyres)... have a look here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KSzzSa87qkA.html Aris Drives FFB
Hey jardier been watching you a while now and your game on screen looks so good and smooth,so I've just bought myself a gaming pc but on my screen it looks terrible, here's my setup i7 8700,rtx 3070ti,32gb ddr4 ram 1tb SSD hooked up to a 30inch ultra wide monitor do you have a graphics setup guide on any of Ur vids
A different question, i got a t300 Ferrari 599 wheel which i'm very pleased and fast with, would you suggest that i take loadcell pedals instead of my normal pedals?
Good video. Now I have a question and I'll try it in English, sorry for bad grammar: I've bought the CSL Elite with F1 esports wheel. Is there a possibility to use the left stick (5-way) in the game? I only can press the left stick, but no way to assign up, down, left, right to any functions in assetto corsa competizione.
I got that wheel its great , but sometimes when cornering say for example the s shaped chicane at Las Vegas i hit a dead zone , how do i get rid of dead zones.
Today I upgrade my rig to McLaren V2 wheel with DD Pro, and trying optimize my buttons I use combination "Starter with exteended input 0,5s" and Ignition on same key and now when I hold that button car starts immidietly and we have one button free for something else.
Hi Jardier, I’m watching some videos from you in the last hours, as I want to start simracing in the next months (I recon probably 2021), and I find this video super useful, as I want to buy the same wheel, so thanks a lot!! Also, I see many people with the Fanatec V3 pedals. Is that a good option to start with? Thanks in advance to anyone who reads this and wants to guide me a bit. I’m a complete noob in all these setups and configuration things haha 😅
Is there a way to makes left joystick working on ACC (AC also) with Fanatec wheel? I can't... :( and I think it should be useful for looking left/right/back, and free some other buttons
Is it possible to assign the "pause button"? I am able to do in the settings, but in game the assigned button does nothing, and pausing works only with "esc" on the keyboard. I am using the CSL DD with the McLaren V2 wheel.
I recently drove my first endurance race but was disquaified because I didn't change drivers. Is there a button for this or do I have to click up somewhere? The time window was so small that I didn't understand what to do...
Hello Jaroslav. I am using a T300 ferrari alcantara on PS4 and for some reason, the game will not recognise the R2 and the L2 buttons. Do you know why?
Great settings, i'll just have to remember i replace the mfd by the ignition. Obviously i kill the engine right on the Imola's straight as i wanted to prepare my pit strategy 😂😂
I enjoy your chanel I was watching and wanted to to inquire on the fact you run the same fanatec whee base how do you have your settings in the base for acc and f1 I run sen 310 ffb 200 abs 100 drift 3 and force int ent 60. Thank you great videos
I have a question...if i am on a straight road and the ai is set 100 there car will have a higher top speed...it doesn't take more skill to go in a straight line...so we should stay even but we don't.. with same car... Why?
PEASE!!!... someone make a hot take and cut Jardier saying every button is the most important and make it 30 seconds or so. Or jardier.. you can do it. Would be a good idea for a second channel. “Jardiers hot takes” 😂. Cut together all the funniest times in your race of the day or something. Love your vids! Stay well my friend🍻🍻
How do you assign 'look back' to simultaneous left + right buttons? If I press both buttons on my universal hub (LT+RT in my case) during assignment, both look left and look right will be cleared and look back will be assigned to one of the two buttons randomly.
@@tomyt3 You probably already figured it out by now, but just in case... Just bind look left and look right, that's it. No need to actually bind anything for look back, the game automatically handles the look-back action if you simultaneously press both left and right.
If you use the switch on the wheel to set engine map to 1, but then you load a setup where the engine map is 4, what happens? I'm guessing the car is at 4 even though the switch says 1?
Well its the game so the switch will stay in position where it was and you have to circle around. In Real race car the car sticks to what you have set on the wheel :)
Its all the same but only the fanatec csl has Ps4 or xbox License each For the base (so you have buy it according to your system) But both are PC friendly
@@Dorovsky23 Both of you are correct and the game even adapts the steering lock internally per car, e.g. leading to 500 something degree for some cars. In addition, if you set it different in driver and in game, you will get a weird multiplied rotation.
Most important is to have the same numbers in driver and game. if you use 500 and turn your wheel 90 degrees it does the same amount of steering as if you have it set to 900 and turn 90 degrees. it only says, how much degrees you can turn your wheel to both sites before it locks. on 500 its 250 on each side for example.
