Not landing in front of so many people yet keeping your composure, getting back up and doing a “thank you for your time” gesture is absolutely admirable. Nothing to be embarrassed about, keep your head up and take it all in as a wonderful time you got to experience.

Because, who wouldn't mess up when performing infront of thousands of people? If you watch me drive and I know thousands are going to judge my driving skills, I'd bet I would run over a red light or do something equally stupid.
@@_the_ I agree! I'm not blaming him, this was meant as a joke. Just a few days ago I was performing in front of loads of people and majorly messed up. Everyone makes mistakes.
bro thats not embarrassing, maybe its frustrating that you did a lot of work and fumbled momentarily but its impressive how much skill youve gained im sure you didnt start with it, just be safe and remember not to be too hard on yourself youve come a long way to beat yourself up over mistakes

Hope you are okay. Athletes go through so much pain. I’d say you have to work past the embarrassing parts and it helps with improvement. Use it as motivation. Take care.
It's really painful *IN MY OPINION* I think horse back riding and gymnastics is the most painful (I only capitalized the in my opinion so people will know it's my opinion not there's😊)

I feel you bro😭I’ve had many embarrassing moments in my life. I remember once I was picked by my teacher in sports day for long jump and I literally did a proper gymnast pose before I ran and everyone started laughing at me.
When I was a kid this guy socked me in the chin with his violin case at the bus stop. I picked my tongue bit up off the ground and ran home crying. That shit builds character I shit you not.
@@arcadianmorning I wouldn't know because i swallowed the piece of tongue i bit off. But the good news it that it heals incredibly quickly compared to the rest of the body. It's just that now my tongue is about 1/2 an inch shorter than it should be 😬
It’s so annoying but funny when u mess up in front of teammates cuz like one time I was doing an ariel on the beam and I slipped so I fell and my teammates just burst out laughing
i wish i could show this to the kids i coach! some of them get so upset when they fall or make a mistake :( i try to tell them that making mistakes is part of every gymnasts story but seeing sometimes is better
I like this more than the adulterated footage that social media influencers post up to look perfect. It shows that skills take time and effort to craft and that mistakes are paramount in that journey. Bravo.
Yeah that happens. I do taekwondo and I once made the mistake of putting my thumb inside my vist... Mind you, I was already quite experienced at this point and knew why not to do that! I think it's personally my most embarrassing sport mistake. Others will probably remember different things but to me personally I was so ashamed of this
It's still very impressive!!!! There are not many people that can have these moment be their embarrassing moments because they can't do these things. You get a big applause from me!!!
once i was doing a floor routine in front of the whole gym and i feel on my butt in my first pass and forgot all my dance, and proceeded to fall on my butt again in my second pass

I am glad you stand again in front of public for every fall , when you can laugh at every embarrassing moment which is you aren't doing any sin at that moment, you grow stronger if you realise physically and mentally 😀
tbh the main reason gymnasts get up even after a fall is because they HAVE to. you must salute the judge before leaving or your score could drop or not even be counted. i’ve had routines where i fell 3 times and wanted to quit right there but was forced to keep goin lol
