I did box braids over my dreadlocks but I couldn’t hide the tips that well because they’re so thick now that they’ve fully locked! Here to learn how she hides the tips so good 😊
I used to do this, only i’d section my hair into twists & then braid the twists with the braiding hair. Style costing $200-300 for some, costed me $40. Now I’ve been loc’d for 1 month, and I plan to do this again after some 3-4 months :)
Thanks for sharing. I have had my love for just 1 year and 5 months so not fully locked but I miss braids sometimes. I will try this since I already know how to install braids.

Guys, please please don't do this. Especially if you're on a longer dreadlocks journey. The pressure of the hairpiece on your dreads does so much damage. In now about a year into damage control after box braid thinned out my hair to the point where some of them started to break. Of course if you have thicker locs, the pressure shouldn't thin them out to the point where they break, but they'll still come out noticeably thinner.
I'm a braided and burning that far up, towards the scalp isn't normal. Adding the mouse and dipping the hair in hot water is more than enough to lie the fly away hair down. I almost choked when I saw that...whew! Very nice style tho

I want to braid my locs I washed them the other day now they look funny coz they just two and half months old.. so should I just go ahead and braid them or?? Anyone?? Please advise please reply. tia
You should see if anyone around you knows how to crochet locs, it's a instant lock and then get it braided. You want the locs to be in pretty neat shape before putting it in a braid.
I have locs that hang down to the top of my butt. I don't understand why anyone would want to put in box braids. You were scinging or burning the fly away hairs. Won't that damage her locs? Awesome job tbough.
