The crochet needle method works great. Pull the braiding hair through the base of your locs use the loc (preferable not after a fresh retwist so it's not too tight). I do this for knotless braids and kinky twists. wanna try it with passion twists soon
That looks so much better then the bulky braids! I'm definitely going to get my stylist to do this on my loc after my 1st yr locversary! I got about 4 more months to hit that milestone!

Girl I literally just watched this and did this...EXCEPT I don't grip as tight so I started it like crotchet, used the tool to put the hair in and then started it like that with one dread! Idk if they were trying to warn me not to do it, but I don’t see the problem 🤷♀️. I thought tht was a good thing 😅. Yes I would say 1 month is good because you don’t want it to get old and start tugging on your loc lol don’t wanna have too much tension. I kept them in about 3 weeks

Thank you!! i used about 5 packs of the MADYE prestretched hair 26inches (pink packs) i used so much because I had to use a piece to extend the length lol
Uhhhh let me see how I can explain it, lol When you do knotless you just add it in depending on the thickness so I just add like 3 small pieces to get the desired thickness then I’ll add another piece to extend the length!
