Today I'm sharing my most worn and favorite denim jeans (spoiler alert: they're my moms 🥰) I've found that jeans are the hardest wardrobe category for me to minimize, but this video shows that I could easily narrow down my collection to only a few pairs and be...just fine. So I'll probably do just that in an upcoming video!
I do own more jeans than I share here, but these are the top 5 pairs of denim jeans (according to my wardrobe-tracking spreadsheet) that I've been wearing the most in the last 3 months.

I know there's a bit of controversy around Everlane, but I love the 90s cheeky straight jeans. I've purchased 3 different colors over the past couple of years and have managed to sell all my other jeans. I love having only 3 pairs because I was finding that I was only grabbing these anyways (so why have extra)!

I liked this video, a bit different and nerdier - i like videos that go into details in a review style but also with personal opinion. About my favourite jeans, I currently own only 2 different brands and styles and I'm in love with them : LEVI'S RIBCAGE STRAIGHT ANKLE WEEKDAY ROWE EXTRA HIGH They are both very similar - I first started with the Levi's and quickly fell in LOVE, bought almost all colours and found myself truly wearing them all the time (there is one colour I wear less, but my black, classic mid wash, off white, light wash get a ton of wears. Then I decided to try the Rowe after hearing lots of good things about it, for now I own an off white pair and a black one. I like that they are a bit less pricy so I don't need to worry about them at all, but at the same time the denim is very sturdy and the quality and cut overall are excellent. We are back to normal life in Korea. Going to work every day and dressing up really changed my life. I re-started shopping too. I got new Levi's straight jeans and I love them, I wear my pair every day :)

Why can I only thumbs up once! Thank you so much for this video!!! I have one style of jeans from uniqlo but in three colours and I intend to wear them to death (the colour variety is sufficient novelty for me). Sometimes we forget we have dresses, skirts and also pants in the closet too not only jeans. 😂 As you keep reminding us, the most sustainable item of clothing is the one already in the closet.

For these kind of videos I find it really helpful to know your height and measurements so I have reference when you mention what sizes you got. With your height and measurements it’s much easier for me to guess what size and length would fit best on me.

I have 2 pairs of jeans - light blue and black skinny jeans. I'd love to find a vintage par of jeans that fit my proportions but yet to find any! Sticking with what I have until these 2 pairs wear out to replace them with anything ✨

I can totally relate to not liking the 501's. I tried them on the other day and even tho its my size it did not fit at all, I couldn't move my thighs and my butt got squished.. not pretty! I always idolize the loose fit / mom fit jeans on other (mainly tall) people, but I absolutely hate them on me and I always end up feeling the most comfortable and beautiful in skinny jeans

@lara absolutely me too! though my legs are too short and curvy so I don't feel comfortable in them. high rise skinny all the way for me ✨ they never fail me and make my legs look longer with a higher rise

I went looking for the 501s too years back because everyone was raving about it, didn't look nice on the butt and the waist wasn't high enough, making me look straight up and down with a flat butt, I'm confused at how it looks so good on other people, tailoring?

If you get tired of all these holes , you can put neutral patches inside . You get the relaxed look but not so much skin exposed . I did this to mine and turned out very fine .

For me, the biggest issue with straight leg jeans are bare ankles so I always need that kind of jeans that cover them. I also look dreadful in mom jeans, so it's always skinny jeans for me. The only not skinny jeans I own are a girlfriend cut and I only wear them during summer. I own about four pairs of jeans in total and it's perfectly enough 👍

This is a perfect timing as I am currently on the hunt for a comfy pair of sustainable jeans. My last pair of fast-fashion ones I ever bought will rip soon in the crotch (it is already so thin), but I am really struggling to find jeans. Also because I want to try them on and not have to order several hundreds of € worth of jeans to try on at home :/

I love vintage 100% denim but after weight fluctuations, it’s been near impossible to find pairs that fit well and my American Eagle jeans have been amazing. My best fit before though we’re the Levi’s 512/550.

Last year I bought my first pair of premium denim from Adriano Goldschmied which cost literally more than my old car payment. Up until then, I would grab whatever was $20 at TJMaxx. I got into my brain that it was worth it to get good denim. So, I do love my AG jeans however I notice some odd puckering around the crotch area and I have no idea if this is normal with raw denim. All my other jeans since the 90s have been stretchy. So I'm not necessarily regretful because I get so much use out of them but I do wonder if that puckering is normal. Anyhoo. Oh yeah, I also bought Agolde denim shorts over the summer. Amazing! I think it does pay to get quality denim, and not loads of $20 jeans.

I think so too! I’m realizing I can get away with a few good pairs and call it a day, since they can be worn over and over and just get better as they break in. But Yeesh! You’re right about the car payment prices. 😭

I usually only get puckering around the crotch when denim that has stretch started to lose the stretch or break down. I have 2 pair of American eagle outfitters Tomgirl jeans that are puckering there but I love the fit so much that I won’t stop wearing them. I tried to replace them but the ones the have out now are not the same fit.

I use to love a lot of jeans. But lately I only like high waisted, ankle length and comfy jeans. So I got rid of all my jeans. I need to get a good pair of jeans. On the hurt for high waisted ankle skinning mom jeans in a middle blue Jean color and faded black color.

I live in vintage 501s. I cannot find a modern jean (even modern Levis) that match the impeccable fit, quality and durability of the vintage 501s! They sure don’t make em like they used to!
