'Sense of duty to family' is what almost destroys your own nuclear family.

I may have missed something listening to this, but I don't understand why he let his crazy mother back in his life in the first place when he got older.

For the sake of his children, I assume. Still a terrible decision...as it fed his crazy mother's delusions further 😅

Anyone who defends the mother or is mad about OP exposing her, well they’ve got issues. The fact people know how crazy she is and just tolerate it and cover it up for her is crazy.. OP deserves to be able to open up about things and expose her even if others don’t decide to speak out, it doesn’t mean he can’t.

File a restraining order on her, and make EVERYTHING known about her, and get witnesses to this shit as well.

He isn't a doormat?? Why would you assume him trying to stay sheltered is being a doormat? He had no where to go. Be more devesated and heartbreaking that he had to go that route to begin with because of his bio mother, in order for him to survive as a teen.

He was a child, who had a horrific home life and then was kicked out. He had no other fucking option. "I wOuld RatHeR be HomeLesS than-" then go be homeless. See how well you do.

@@KatVWine He let his mother bully him for 20 years only at 41 to grow a spine. That's being a f-ing doormat!!! The "route" he went about is one of the most pathetic ways possible for a man to get out of poverty. Being sheltered is not an excuse for being a doormat for 20 years...

@@PastelWitch_ If you don't want to be homeless got get f-ed in by another man. That's your argument, people with down syndrome should not be allowed to use internet.

That’s still not being a doormat. Do you realize that he’s been through shit and it takes people a while to realize that they need someone to talk to someone to help them get over the pain they’ve been through. So no, he’s not being a doormat.
