I hope they don’t make otgf tornado because there are times where you get a read on an opponent and choose to use it to crush their jab/high attack and launch them, but if they make it tornado, it’ll become a less effective for that purpose and I wouldn’t want it to become combo filler. I really enjoyed launching people with it into double electric or even another otgf. So, no tornado on that please, but I guess it doesn’t matter to me. I’m happy my main is returning.
jin's electric is also a tornado, but it basically doesn't matter because his damage afterwards is almost as much as a full launch combo anyways, and i could see heihachi getting the same treatment. i would prefer otgf being a full launch and regular thunder god fist being a tornado if that were the case
Me too, OTGF needs to be that all killer, no filler move that's hard to execute, but is satisfying when it connects. Especially when paired with EWGF and or another OTGF.
To be clear, you can have a move that's a normal hit launcher AND a mid combo tornado at the same time in Tekken 8. Jin's Electric Thrusting Uppercut gives a fully launch on its own, AND is a Tornado if you use it mid combo. You just never see Jin players using ETU mid combo because it's usually not the best option (mostly because his Samsara AKA Black Wing Rondo is the main route), so people mostly see its full launch properties and not its tornado property.

You forgot omen UF3+4 bro! It's GOTTA be in here. Also: OTGF doing screw would mess up the high skill combos really bad. Like double omen into filler + screw. I hope they let OTGF have it's own properties
i think they'd make RAI 2,1 a heat engager instead, since it'd bounce up from the ground to launch probably And then it'd be a cool combo extension if you end a combo with it into heat dash
I think his Raijin 1 will become a screw launcher (screw not tornado btw) but on airborne hit it will aerial spin Raijin 21 will get a small damage nerf and become a heat engager first hit 15 second 23 He'll get a Raijin low but only in heat that is -15 but knockdown on hit for a free ff2 giving 30-40 damage When going into Raijin he can parry similar to Reina So he'll get a raijin mixup in heat he can do the low 3 times or Raijin 21 dash for a launch. If a launch is too much it can knockdown into OTGF for 60+ damage anyway The stance parry can be beaten by a jumping move which is why Raijin 1 aerial spin to counter but since it's a high Yoshi and Claudio will be a bad matchup for him making the stance a nice addition and not broken Ws1 may become i12 he'll get a i14 ws3+4 knee punish for big damage but not a launch similar to Jinpachi Tag 2 u4 knee Will still lack a i15 standing and ws launcher
For Tekken 8, Heihachi would likely focus on pressure and chip damage from his various mids (including f+3), similar to Kuma, but with better frames. Instead of f+1+2 being the heat engager, i suspect demon breath (1+2) to be the 12f heat engager.
I feel like demon breath is going to be a heat engager. It's an iconic attack and it seems fitting since kuma has it as a heat engager too. I also hope that raijin's wrath is a heat engager ensteat of raijin 1, it just looks cooler and is the old punsh parry follwup. I also think it would be neet if in heat he gets his old twin pistons in df+1 df+2 as a throwback to his glory days when he was the most onga Mishima probably 😅.
what about the 1 b 2 ,1+2 the rage drive 10f on ch as heat engager ,drag has it with 121,bryan has it with 124 so i think his rage drive move or something like that will be heat engager /heat dash

Omen, Heat dash Omen as a twitter combo Also b2 is pretty similar to Lidia's b1 so I forsee that's going to be a Heat engager, it would still allow his rage drive 1,b,2 ch confirm like claudio's by making 1,b2 still combo and 1,b2F would be full launch
1,b+2 is too much fun to spam in the neutral, and I doubt if it were a heat engager, it would be -2 again, which is the reason it's so spammable. I'm praying they keep it as is. lol b+2 is rather slow and linear, but I can see it becoming a Heat Engager as well since f+3 is already his main CH launcher
bb1+2 as a guard break is OP. It's too fast and especially if the followup is Hei's 112 then it's too much because of the wall splat unless they remove 112 wall splat but i doubt it.

Disagree on F1+2. My money's on B2. It visually mixes up with db2 and there's a pattern of wall-bounce moves being converted to Heat Engagers. Bryan QCF1+2, Law FF3, Paul uf2, Lars Sen1, etc
