In this #devlog I've converted my project to #godot 4! I show how I did my heightmap and my foliage! I had to handle the map that was created with Zylann's plugin. I hope you enjoyed it! 😁 #madewithgodot
Excellent video!👍 I really enjoyed watching it. However, I had some difficulty hearing your voice in some parts due to the music being too loud. It would be helpful if the volume of your voice could be increased to make it more audible and ensure that it doesn't get overshadowed by the music. Keep up the great work!
Hey thanks for the feedback! I think you are right, the music is a little bit loud. This is a constructive comment! I will try to be more careful with the music next time 🙂! I'm glad you enjoyed the Devlog regardless 🤩!
Hey 🙂! When I develop my game, I host a local server on my computer directly, as a Godot app. After, when I'm ready to test it with my friends, I create a docker build that I host on playfab. What we see at the beginning of the video is the one hosted on playfab (I know it because of the higher ping at the top right) 🙂 Feel free to ask me more questions! You can also join our Discord server if you want 🙂!
In godot 4, I used GetStatistic on a network peer : docs.godotengine.org/en/latest/classes/class_enetpacketpeer.html#class-enetpacketpeer-method-get-statistic In godot 3.x I had to calculate the ping myself 🙂 I hope it helps!
