One of the things I like so much about you and Danny is that even though you have Terminators you still love and enjoy during your GT’s. It’s always cool seeing someone still able to enjoy driving cars that don’t make a ton of power. Y’all are true Mustang enthusiasts!
Thanks. I do enjoy all of the mustangs and their special in their own ways. For example, right now I’m at a 4th of July parade and the silver GT is in a parking garage. I’m not worried about it like I would be if my cobra or Mach 1 was sitting there. I still don’t want anything to happen to it but I’m not worried about it too much.
I always enjoy your videos! I am big fan of 4th Gen, New Edge Mustangs. I live in Scituate, Massachusetts, and own a Dark Highland Green 2001 Bullitt #00007 and a Silver 2003 GT Premium Convertible. On my convertible, I had a set of 1999 35th Anniversary Special Edition Rockers installed, as well as a set of 2001 Bullitt Front Brakes. I am a twin, just like you, and my brother, Rick, is responsible for my love of Mustangs. Rick has owned a bunch of Mustangs since buying a new 1992 Dark Blue Mustang LX 5.0 Hatchback. In 2003, my father went to visit Rick in Danville, California, drove Rick's new 2003 GT Premium, and upon return to Massachusetts, purchased a new 2003 GT Premium Convertible for himself. Soon after my dad purchased his convertible, he brought it by my house for me to see and drive it. I was shocked that he, at 63 years old, had purchased the convertible with a 5-speed manual transmission. I asked my father to talk to me if he ever wanted to sell that car. In 2011, my father decided to sell the convertible, and I was fortunate to be able to purchase it. That is the same Silver GT Convertible I described earlier. I will never sell that car. I bought it with 56k miles in 2011, and it now has 118k. I love to drive that car. Rick has owned two Dark Highland Green 2001 Bullitts. In 2006, Rick purchased Bullitt #01794, which he owned until 2015. He purchased Bullitt #01155 in November 2022. Bullitt #01155 needed a little work to get up to Rick's standards. I visited Rick in late April this year, and we took Bullitt #01155 into San Francisco to see a few of the Bullitt filming locations. That was great. We got a photo of Bullitt#01155 in front of Frank Bullitt's apartment on the corner of Clay and Taylor streets. My brother Rick and I have recently purchased a Dark Highland Green 2001 Bullitt #05002 from the original owner in California. The car has 51k miles, and required some restoration to return it to factory stock. The work is done, and we are selling it now. Take a look at the IMBOC post here: www.imboc.com/threads/project-bullitt-05002.379992/page-2?post_id=3788348#post-3788348. It is a stunning car.
I ran into a guy here in Regina Sask Canada that had the same red 10th anniversary Cobra but it was a convertible had the 10th anniversary wheels only 40,000km on it, and pretty much stock other then a pully, I appreciate your channel as it helps me appreciate these cars more when I know how rare each trim and model is, really cool to see since I see yours on all your videos all the time,
Stuck through the entire video and loved every bit of it brother! Cars looked great, the gt350 came out looking really good and my yellow GT is looking really good as well and coming along well! Recently learned that I have a bad transportation value so back brakes aren’t working but we are getting it worked out. Great collection
When cleaning my 96 mystic cobra #368. I removed the back seat. I found things that belonged to 2 previous owners. One thing was a insurance card. Found him on face book. Contacted back a month later. He owned it from 97--2001. Showed me a picture from a car show with him in it. He wants to buy it back. But I don't want to sell. He is very outdoors so I guess the three shot gun shells were his. lol The next owner had a pay stub. looked him up. He matched the picture of a young guy being goofy. He had it from 2001 he believes to 2008.He put the flowmasters on. He also installed chip[ he thinks. the bing money symbol necklace I found belonged to him. lol . Wanted a picture to show his now wife the car. Amazed a near 30 year old looks as good. as it does. I live in Brigham city.
Nice update on all the cars. What size cover did you buy for the clear plastic ones? Been meaning to get one but did not want to get one too big or too small
Clay bar and wax for the most part. If it’s cloudy I paint correct it with the random orbital buffer. There isn’t much you can do about nicks and scratches. The paint correction can take out most of the swirls though. I have videos about it
Do all of these mustangs have steering play?? My gt has it real bad like a dead spot, I’ve replaced the shaft and everything and it is still there. Any tips on that aspect?
@@justin.c_svt I’ve had the steering rack replaced twice now because they leak, it’s a “re manufactured” junk, but even with the stock one when I first bought it, it still had slop. So I’m just lost lol
@zacharyholley5226 sometimes I’ve seen where the telescoping section of the steering shaft has movement where one piece slides into the other. They don’t quite turn together. One twists slightly inside the other
