The poor forgotten herbs and spices left in the cupboard. From Hello Wembley. Website: www.michaelmcintyre.co.uk/ Facebook: / themichaelmcintyre Twitter: @McInTweet #MichaelMcIntyre #HelloWembley #HerbsAndSpices
James Hampton - I showed my Swiss girlfriend this (her English is improving). She loved it.. we both went to out spice cupboard and turned them all to fave outwards.
I'm looking at this sketch with my mouth open, like a little girl, and it really seems to me that Michael's greatest talent is to have kept a vivid, almost childish imagination. Only a child could imagine a conversation among the spice jars jealous of the popularity of salt and pepper.
Living in a multicultural environment I use quite a variety of spices but ever since I watched this, I make sure "noone" gets forgotten in the back of the cupboard 😂
You’re so bloody funny brother! One of my all time best comedians! Seeing you first on BGT, didn’t realize how good you are at comedy. Now I can’t get enough of your stand ups.
My husband on the other hand decides to try every spice and herb on every meal he makes sometimes it works and the food tastes amazing sometimes the cat won't even consider eating it!. My favourite is rosemary thyme and garlic although I do like paprika and chilli and lemongrass cumin and turmeric depending on what we are having. I'm so glad England is so multicultural we can learn so much for other countries and cultures when it comes to food music dance medicine etc they really bring alot to the community. I love knowing people from all over the world and experiencing some of their homeland.
This was brilliant! The Five Spice killed me ( and I don't like it either!) Poor Paprika. He'll never see the light of day! Unless they have potato salad.
Everyone's mom just has a can of tuna in the back of the pantry that no one will ever touch. No one knows how it got there. No one will ever eat it. It just exists
This is my cupboard!! I bought a load of herbs and spices for when I was on slimming world three years and some of them have never been opened! I'm so ashamed!! lmao
Making duck in the oven….know what it called for? Five Spice!! 😂 never bought it before, remembered your skit and played it for my son. “I am Five spice” is so funny ! I love all Michael’s stuff! He cracks me up every time😂😂😂
Unless you are Hungarian , then paprika is the star of all spices , he can sit quite smugly on the table with salt and pepper having the time of his life
i remember watching this when first on the TV with my mum and just couldn't stop looking at her cause she had a spice cupboard which she never used, she would buy bolognese and never had anything to it, we laughed so much as how true it was
I was once at a pub quiz where one of the answers was Chinese 5 Spice. I immediately started quoting the 5 Spice part of this sketch to my friend. He was staring at me, and I couldn't work out why. When I finished I turned round and realised 2 Chinese people were sat right next to us and heard the entire thing 🤦♂️
I better check my cupboard and see what spice are out of date. They must be cursing me since we had the lock down and I did not implement social distancing in the cupboard.
In a Black home, the 5 spice would actually be right next to the salt and pepper... And seasoned salt??? That mug would have pride of place! 😂😂✊✊ It certainly is at my house...
Just watched Jim Gaffigan for the first time in my life. But he's not half as up-beat and child-like fun and doing the voices like Michael McIntyre. He just stands there, basically whining. Can't hold a candle to Michael. (And I'm not biased, for I'm from neither of their home countries.)
