MY NANAY'S LECHE FLAN
10 egg yolks (use XL / Jumbo yolks, or add 1 to 2 more if using medium)
1 tall can evaporated milk
2 cans (380/ 390 grams) condensed milk
zest of 3-5 Dayap, OR zest of 2 lemon
2-4 tablespoons sugar per Llanera (leche flan mould), for caramelizing

Yung tinutukoy ni nanay ay yung techniques sa paghahanda at pagluluto from ingredients to finished products, meticulous and matyaga na proceso, that makes the diferrences in outcome of dishes. Fast-paced na kasi mentality and approach ngayon kaya may pagkakaiba talaga even with same ingredients used. This also displays the generational differences. Nice to see the mother and son tandem doing magic in the kitchen! Very entertaining, as usual, Chef RV, thanks!

Nanay knows best talaga Chef RV. First of all salamat po sa Nanay nyo nagbigay ng full support and tips sa iyong channel(I'm a great fan and follower all the time). I should have miss my Mom also whose making us a good food since we were young. To all the moms show them the Love you can cuz one day you gonna miss them so much the things they have done to us. Your nanay is very cool she knows the little things of cooking a very raw techniques. I know it's very hard to cook the lecha flan pinoy style. I have tried many times but your nanay said is the way how to make it in a gentle manner I agree. Now, I have to follow the steps of your Nanay and you Mr RV the best leche flan I should be proud of my own. God more power and healthy blessings to your mom and the rest of the family. Nagluluto ako ng leche flan & i always use 1 can of condensed lang kaya nagulat ako na nakalagay sa recipe nia na 2 cans of condensed, super sweet na un! Other than that, almost same lng ung alam ko na recipe na masarap din tlga, & i use 1 tbsp lemon instead of dayap(hndi ko sya alam actually hahah)

Love your mom's and your recipe and techniques of preparing leche flan. I grew up in a Pampango 🏡 home with only my mom's cooking. She was a superb one-of-a-kind home chef! I remember gathering lime from the garden, zesting them and she sieves them in cheese cloth while immersed in the milk mixture. The good old days! Best and God bless 💖
