As a hairstylist for the last 20 years, thank you for putting out this video! All your advice is sound and so good for all hair types. I will add that if you have very fun, very thin hair, you’re not necessarily doing something wrong, genetics do play a major role, but if you follow this advice, your hair can be it’s best version. God made you the way he did on purpose ♥️

@user-nn7jz7xg7q yes you can definitely improve the quality of your hair following the advice in this video. You may also want to watch haircare videos from a youtuber called Katherine Sewing who has category 3-4 hair which is prone to being very dry and frizzy. She fixed her damaged hair and it's extremely beautiful and long now. Your hair texture changes a little over time with hormones too, so if your hair is going grey then the texture will be slightly different from how it used to be, but you can still improve it a lot following a more natural and nourishing routine.

Following childbirth, I noticed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I opted for a wellness-focused strategy. I took care of my diet, eating nutrient-rich foods, especially those high in Vitamin E and Protein. I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress management. I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage. I even started applying LittleExtra's Coconion shampoo and hair oil along with a neem wood comb. The result was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.

I love your approach and you’ve reminded me why natural beauty is so truthful and fulfilling! I for years have left my hair untouched, almost no cutting, no color. The allure of the stylish women or women of other eras is enticing, but allowing and accepting what God has given us, and really maintaining it with the upmost care is going to make us feel more relaxed and much more beautiful and it allows the inner beauty to show more I believe! Keep up the good work encouraging women to take care of their bodies hair and souls and bringing this light to all in the process!

I've had such rollercoaster journey with my hair, I used to have type 2C/3A, and very dry hair, I always had split ends, and if I didn't use deep conditioner, or leave-in conditioner, my hair would feel like hay, so I started using a products for curly, dry and damaged hair, I tried a whole bunch of different products, and after years of that, now my hair is super thin and breaky, I get an oily scalp within a day, my curls/waves are completely gone, and it actually got to a point I had to chop my hair off use of how damaged it got from all of the drugstore products, but thanks to you, I am now starting my natural hair care journey and hopefully my hair will find its strength, volume and curls once again!

I can vouch for the egg hair masks! In high school I used eggs, olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil before showering 3x a week and my hair became so thick and dense I had to get my hair cut every 6 weeks.😂 it also became 6in in circumference when straight and pulled back in a ponytail which was fantastic too.

Got to have the patience, feed your body the right, nutritious food, using right / gentle products... thank you :) Keep up the good work!

I am here in complete envy of your gorgeous hair. I have yet to find scalp care that doesn’t irritate (things will feel AMAZING while it’s sitting on my scalp, but then once my hair dries it’s an incessant itch again). The result is my hair is lackluster and in general no bueno.

This is so encouraging. I shaved my head a couple years back, and now I'm trying to get back to where I need to be as a Christian woman. Hair and all. It's just below my shoulders now, but a little thin and getting dry. This video is right on time.

The women that people consider to be the very most Christian - nuns - actually have most of their heads shaved! Just the little front of their hair that peeks out of the head cover is allowed to be longer. This is to avoid vanity, so I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that your shaved head could be considered just as Christian. Personally, my desire to transition into more natural lifestyle comes as a way to get away from much of what religion taught me. Crazy how different journeys can get you to the same destination!

This is the first time i have seen anyone in the same boat as me! About 5 years ago, i had ribcage length hair that i had seriously put through the wringer with frequent hair dye, harsh chemicals, and heat tools. It was looking really bad, and i had only just realized it after coming out of a depression funk when my two babies were small. Anyways, i decided to shave the back and sides of my head and chopped the rest to chin length...after a year or two of that style, i simply shaved my head bald. I was exhuasted and couldnt keep up with any self care at the time. Dark place! Well, my hair has been growing out since then, about 4 or 4 1/2 years, and its nearly waist length! My husband os happy to have my long hair back and im learning to appreciate my hair, and care for it naturally. It used to be a type of art for for me, but ive realized that God already created art with my natural hair just the way He made it. Also in recent years, with the LBGTQXYZ nonsense going on and getting more prevalent, i dont want to be lumped into a certain group of people...like it or not, people make assumptions about everyone they see at even a first glance. One day i was at walmart looking for a vitamin, and this maybe 16 or 17 yo kid comes up to me and says "hey, you look pretty chill, will you buy me some cigs?" 🫣 as a conservative bible-believeing and church-going middle aged mom of two, that was like a slap in the face wake up call! I want to glorify my Creator in all things, including my appearence and how i carry myself. And so i made some decisions and have changed how i dress, my hair, wesr no make up anymore, which my skin is happy about and getting ready to go anywhere is so much better. Sorry, that was a long comment. I was just excited to find someone out there with similar convictions as me!

Love this video. I wish more people had this information. You did a beautiful job explaining. Diet is so important! We also eat a more ancestral nourishing tradition diet. I do the castile soap for me and my 3 girls and the ACV rinse and then each of the girls get to pick their essential oil after the hair is air dried...usually honeysuckle,lavender, or another floral scent.This is also very cost effective we all have very long hair so buying any type of premade shampoo and conditioner could get rather expensive. Natural products are much more effective and you need much less. I love that you gave knowledge of all hair types not just yours. Your a so very gracious with your words. Our bodies are a temple and a very precious gift. Thanks for the beautiful video.

How do you apply the essential oil after your hair is air dryer? Spray?
@MamaAguilar93
@MamaAguilar93 Год назад
Katie B I add a little bit of jojoba oil to the palm of my hand and a few drops of the essential oil to that and gently mix by rubbing my palms together then straight to the strands of the hair.

You should start considering online consultation. You can explain these things so they’re easy to understand. And I have so many follow up questions that might be specific to my hair type. This side of hair care doesn’t get as much recognition from what I’ve seen, but with your knowledge, audience, and personability you would probably get some clients that you could charge for zoom sessions. If you get a lot of people, you could organize them by hair type in separate classes that way people can ask questions that others may have but wouldn’t have thought to ask about.

Thank you so much for this, Lea! It came right on time, what a coincidence. I really needed this. My hair started to break or fall and I'm in need of some strength. Not sure what caused it yet, but God willing I will soon. My hair is very oily and I barely use any product, sometimes I would skip conditioner on my ends all together, but I think that was not a good idea. I used to do homemade hair treatments every other week with olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil and added either honey or and egg, and all of a sudden I just stopped doing it all together. This video was so great! I prayed to God to teach me and guide me on what to eat and how to take care of my hair. Thank you, Lea. I believe this was the Holy Spirit. ❤God bless you.🤗

I love watching hair videos. I myself have 4c hair & ive noticed that women with long hair all care for their hair similarly: using oil before washing and in scalp care, trying to extend between wash days (for their hair type), deep conditioning, using clays, braiding hair & low manipulation & caring for ends, many having a long layer look or blunt cut. Has definitely helped me on my journey. Currently at bra strap & it’s the longest it’s even been so excited for this journey. I also love clays & ACV. Funny enough our hair to wash day is pretty similar I just wash every 2-4weeks as my hair loves it. Thanks for your content ❤

Alaffia is a really cleansing and GENTLE brand that is basically the same as castille somehow it doesnt damage my hair though. Alaffia is excellent AND costs the same as pantene. around 30-50 cents an ounce! ALSO My 32 oz bottle of alaffia lasted almost 6 months!!! I have a bob though and I cleanse my hair twice in the shower but only wash every 3rd day. So wash one day unwashed for two days then wash again. I also started oiling my hair too and my hair is exceptionally healthy it's never been this healthy.

Love you so much sis and appreciate your content, especially that you mentioned all hair types, as a 4C woman, it's been a life long struggle and slow untraining of my brain to love and appreciate the hair the good Lord gave me which is the polar opposite of your lovely long strands :). Some people might be confused by the term "natural hair" as it's been coined in recent years towards women in the black community in an effort to get more of us to stop chemically straightening our hair or wearing wigs and weaves. You might not have known that, and I totally understand, not offended at all, just wanted to share :) All of this information is beneficial, being 5'10" it would be really unique and awesome too if you did a video with tips for clothing and other things for those of us taller than the average man! LOL!!! God bless you!!!
