It's generally very hard to make wavy hair look curly especially 2b or 2a wavy hair, while 2c has more potential to look curly, it'll still be weighted down and straightened out with a lot of products. A lot of people don't understand curly hair that much and that's why they call loose or large diameter curls waves, so just keep in mind that if your hair is puffy and voluminous with 0 products and has some curl and it also becomes even tighter with the use of products instead of being weighted down, it is curly hair and NOT wavy.

How “wavy” is your hair with no products?

When I use no products my hair is just straight and frizzy but when I apply creams and leave in conditioners it gets curly but only at the front. I think I have to grow it out more I guess.

@@manuelenriqueee when my hair is fully wet and I just get out of the shower and have no products in, my hair is a mixture of 2A, 2B and 2C waves, but mostly 2B when it is wet. Then, when I let it air dry, it becomes straight (around 1B-1C) and doesn't have that definition or curl pattern when it is wet. I have tried using a leave in conditioner and curl cream to help my hair stay defined even when it dries, but that doesn't seem to helping much. What do you recommend that I do to help my hair stay as the same as it is when it is wet? Do you have any specific product recommendations or styling techniques I should use - it would really benefit me a lot bro?

Leave the sides long and after you washed your hair in the shower you should apply either a leave-in (+ other styling products) or if you just want one product then just a curl creme. But you need to lock in the moisture

Yes maybe it’s too short but air drying won’t give you as much volume as you could get with diffusing. Also you could try out a mousse cause that gives your curls more volume

Leave in doesn’t make your hair more curly. It just hydrates your curl. But with the scrunching technique you can make your hair more curly

I use curl cream but only on a refresh day. Cause when I use all the styling products it would be too much with the curl creme. Cause the curl creme is an all in one
