Used to race a 95 HX in limited in region 7. No better time in PWC racing 95>00, it was wild back then! My boy Kenny Mac was building some of the fastest skis in country at the time, well known in the Central Florida racing scene! Watching your content brings back a lot of memories, by far the best SeaDoo content on YT! Keep up the good work!
Yes more vid's on the HX! I have a 95' HX and having a ton of issues with the carb's/performance. My hull is currently getting repainted so i have some time to sort problems. The shop that rebuilt my engine also suggested blocking off the oil injection and running pre-mix, but i was not okay with that. Looking forward to more HX content.
A guy that races had one of these here in Oklahoma with a kawi 1.5 in it. It's a blast to ride! It will never be as cool as a waveblaster but it's the next best thing
Your vids should be req'd viewing for all high school students! I love my 96 HX - it is one of the most beautiful skis ever made. I honestly couldn't choose between the HX and my X4's as to which is my GOAT favorite. Mike at pwcgraphics just made mine look mint - so thanks for making me aware of him! Please keep making these videos....there are painfully few sources for proper Sea Doo maintenance and repair out there and you guys are head-and-shoulders above the rest! 🤘
Hey Nick, I really enjoy your channel. I wish I had watched before I rebuilt my first ski! By the way there’s a chemical out there by Auto Tech called quick n easy for removing adhesive. I’ve used it quite a bit and it works on pretty much everything.
For sure split the hull ! Your videos are so informative . Definitely in to see Hydro turf bumpers and if you do knee pads with it too ! I am working on a 96 with Kawasaki 1100 now so following ! I have a completely refurbished factory pipe for hx and new water injection I bought before I decided to do the swap ? I don’t know if you can use for that type build ? Lmk if interested.
@@TodayWeWrench I mangled the name of that stuff. It's Xylol. If you spill it on your Epoxy floors and walk through it, it will soften the bottoms and leave marks everywhere. Do you know how i know that...? So clean any spill or drop with acetone.
Do you have a video on how to tune a dual carp set up. I have an XP and it looks just about impossible to get to the screws while it is running. I have heard that the air box should be on it when it is tuned.
back in 98 i had a hx with a full modded 785 motor rossier pipe buckshot carbsd. ran 2 times then got small amt of salt water injestion toast. the original death machine
Great content. I have a question maybe you can help. I got a 2004 gti rfi got a new motor put in from sbt its 787 and the problem im having is it runs great out of water but when i put in water wont rev up. The mechanic said its the computer so got another computer same thing. But watchin videos im starting to think its reed/ravevalves is it possible? I checked the rave valves and all that looks new and the rave valve slides in and out. But not sure if it also has reed valves? Thx for your wisdom in advance and keep making great content
787 dosnt have reeds. Does it restart in the water? Does it run in the water? Did you do fuel lines and carbs? Did you buy a Mikuni kit to rebuild them? Did you replace the fuel selector? If all of those are yes, your rotary timing is off or you have a bad battery. Speaking of which is the battery charging? Is it a bad rectifier? Talk to me bro
@@TodayWeWrench yo thx bro for taking your time to get back to me much appreciated. yes it runs in the water never shuts off in water just wont rev up at all in the water. it does have new fuel lines, it 2004 gti rfi, so its fuel injector, the battery is new as well they also replaced the rectifier, nothing in the impellar. just wont open up at all on the water, outside of the water revs up to 6000+rpm, sounds great. its the weirdest thing. I am just deseperate spent so much $$$ on this project it has to be something simple. if you think of any thing im all ears. thank you bro I truly appreciate you. last few days since I found your channel I have been watching your vids. you know you stuff keep up the great work it helps us guys that "TRY" to be DIY's...
I’ll take those purple seat rubbers with the yellow knee pads. $$$ And I’ll trade you my black hood cover for your purple one. I’m near Chicago. I can pick them up.
