@@TheDailyWoo Depending on the time of day - I have pre check also and have had to wait at MCO for at least 20 minutes sometimes. Its still faster than the normal line which sometimes can be an hour long. You get some rain from Hurricane Beryl on Monday night which is coming up Texas to the east of the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
All airlines have their issues, but it’s the way they handle/resolve the issues, communicate with their customer base impacted. I’ve flown Delta for years for business/personal travel & highly recommend them.
Delta is always my go to when i fly out to boston to see my brother. Always on time, boards quickly. Most of the time the pilots come on the PA and debrief everyone on the time of travel, smooth flight etc. Never had a delay with them. the FA's have always been super friendly. Ive flown sun country too and also a good airline
I’m glad you picked Delta. You gotta start racking up those miles for those upcoming long haul international trips. Delta One is probably the best US business class out there. Thanks for the vids!
LadyDragonsblood. Also the bubble gum that was two feet long in a paper tube. The sour green apple was my go to. And it had such a strong smell. My Late Mom always knew when I was chewing some.
Pixie sticks in a birthday piñata were the best. I’m looking at the gummy waffle and thinking about the episode where Chip & Dale invade Donalds kitchen while he’s cooking and he tricks them with a rubber cement pancake. 🤣 it’s called “Three for Breakfast.”
"Free" is me. I'd load myself up with some sausage and eggs at that time of the morning before boarding. I also would have grabbed some of those Fig Newton's for the flight. It's not cheap, think it's something like $500 annually, but I love my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. Pays for itself especially if you travel as much as you do.
Hey Adam 🤗 I’m glad you had a good travel day and you arrived safely. I’ve never thought about using the lounge upon arrival - that is pretty handy. I’m looking forward to seeing what you are getting up to ♥️ xxx
OMG! I was planning my first Disney trip for August 21 to the 28th and I was so excited to try to run into you at the parks. So sad you won’t be there!! ❤😢
That big "sculpture" is a VOR(VHF omnidirectional range). It a ground based radio navigation transmission station for aircraft. They use it to navigate in the air. It's pre-GPS. They are still widely used. Every one has a unique name. That is the MAVERICK VOR, there is also COWBOY VOR to the east and RANGER VOR to the west.
Delta is my airline of choice as well. I live in a Delta hub so it made sense. I purchase everything with my Delta credit card and my Skymiles have grown quite a bit. Love the lounge access too. Love your travel days - feels like I am traveling too!
Those Sky Clubs have come a long way. Back in the early’90’s I was flying a lot and so had access to them. Back then they were little more than a place to relax or work in quiet with a complimentary bar and a bowl of mixed nuts. Fast forward to today and I finally regained enough status to return. Wow! What a difference. They are like an oasis from the chaos of the terminals and gate areas. I always try to plan enough time to drop in for the generous food offerings, not to mention a libation or two! It eases some of the stress and anxiety of airport life. Well done Delta!
Hi Adam. I don't say much often on your channel, but I just want you to know that I watch all of your videos and love them. You're a lot of fun to follow around! Btw, I don't like flying but when I do Delta is my choice of transportation. You just reminded me that I have to get myself a passport. I miss the days when you could go to Canada and Mexico without one, but I understand why they changed that, and I appreciate that they did this with our safety in mind. Stay safe on your travels Adam!
Nice video Adam! We got a tour of the Delta Sky Club out of LaGuardia a couple of weeks ago and saw Darryl Strawberry! Very cool and we are also joining! Such a peaceful place before a flight..have a safe trip!😊
Adam, get yout mom and/or dad to drop by and pick up your car and either park it at their home or yours. Pay them to do it! Two months at that rate is unnecessarily expensive.
I used to do that Delta terminal on work trips coming back to L.A., when you got off the train there was a sweet shop on the right that had soft serve...Yum. Also a Subway-type place that made good sandwiches to avoid the plane food.
Oh Adam....you will LOVE the Sky Lounge life. Nothing is better when your flight has a lengthy layover or delay to go take advantage of the Sky Lounge. Also, just a tip...several airports have MULTIPLE sky clubs...and they can be quite different, even in the same airport! Atlanta is a prime example of this.
Welcome to my home town! We live 10 minutes from the Ballpark. You probably filmed my neighborhood while flying over. Have a good time and enjoy the "cooler" weather. The hurricane is helping keep the temperature lower.
Lounge access, nice! Definitely do a little research on credit card points. You can leverage them for hotel stays as well. Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to Hyatt, amongst others + many airlines, but Hyatt points tend to be the most valuable. For example, a night at a nice Hyatt in Europe can run 8,000-15,000 points. A comparable Marriott or Hilton would be 50,000-70,000 points. You'd probably get a lot of value out of the Chase Sapphire reserve or preferred. 🙂👍
What kind of life Adam most lead that he has no concept of time, lol! He's always like "I'm leaving for 9---10---11--- give or take a couple days. Or when he's like, "I'll be gone for a month or two or so"... LMAO!!! Most be nice to just have no responsibility and money to do whatever you want! Love these videos
Sadly, working the grind for 50 years, I always know what day it is🥴 Haven’t even been able to travel out of my town since Covid👎 Hope he realizes the blessings of this life the viewers have given him😎
Same, when I'm just starting the flight or flights the idea of a full belly, is a no, but the lounge after your flight, for a coffee and something to eat, now that makes sence
Delta has been my preferred carrier for years. When I was touring I always had status with them which made everything so much better. Yes, we spent at least a third of the year flying internationally so Global Entry (which includes TSA Pre) saves a massive amount of time when you get back to the states. You just go to an empty kiosk and it scans your face. No lines or any wasted time. The TSA Pre was also a game changer along with Delta’s own Digital ID service is even faster at airports that have it. Even though I live in LA now, DFW was my home airport growing up so I’m there a lot as well. I lived in Atlanta for about a year also. I’m only at MCO when working on any projects at WDW so I’m there less often. Lol…I LIVE in the lounges! I actually prefer getting there early and relaxing with some food, drinks and great Wi-Fi. Many even have showers which are great for some layovers to freshen up.
Hey Adam, looking forward to seeing what's in store from Texas thanks again for bringing us along. I think you will find the Delta sky club to be worth it. I would utilize it every chance I could.
Adam, I loved pixie sticks and loved the giant ones! Really enjoyed your video. Those clouds look like soft fluffy cotton. I always love your ✈️ videos! Can't wait till your next vlog.
Make sure to use the agents in the sky lounges during misconnects and delays. They seem to have more flexibility and knowledge until you reach higher tier status plus the lines will be shorter.
Thanks Adam for taking me on the journey i enjoy it. BTW the new camera is awesome everything look great on my Sony A95 oled. Thanks again for another great video.
Have fun and Dallas. I'm never been to this new stadium for the texastrangers. But I've been to the old stadium, the old Rangers stadium. I was born and raised in the DFW area. Until I moved to Virginia in the summer of 1999. I was 14. When I left Texas.
HI Adam, my daughter lives in Dallas, She lives in Deep Ellum area and soon the Texas State Fair is coming to Texas. You must try that fair it is cool. IT is so cool it goes for a month. Lots of Music happening in Dallas and great food and drink. Safe journeys for you and have some fun. GREAT museums, a great ZOO/Aquarium. Great sports.
Love the travel vlogs. I agree Adam. I am a SkyMiles member and rarely visit the lounge unless there are delays. Ive always used my passport to travel instead of my drivers license. Even domestically. 5D is my favorite seat. I always try to get it. Heading to Orlando next month. Cant wait!
The clocks you see are world times, you will see them internationally (12:55) once you start those, those points you get are good to have, cash, reimbursements from a recent charge, first-class upgrades, and you can decide on the settings in your personal credit account.✈🤑💳😁
The MCO Delta sky Club is probably one of the lower Clubs that they have. But it's OK. Lots of seating. If you plan getting Global Entry I'd get started on that.. It can take a long time to go through the process and it includes TSA Precheck. If you want to just get TSA Precheck...that is very fast. If you have the Delta Reserve or Platinum card AMEX will pay for Global Entry or TSA Precheck every 5 years.
Love Delta, welcome to the Sky Miles club. I always used my passport, I also have a passport cover where I can insert baggage slips and boarding passes in case technology goes down (ie dead battery) Love Global Entry.... less drama XD Especially when connections are tight due to delays. Sometimes when you're a frequent flyer you will be granted TSA clearance. So check that boarding pass. FYI if you book business class on international flights, you will also have lounge access in the international lounges besides Delta.
Adam - I’d love to see how you pack several days worth of things into a small suitcase and backpack. How about a video with your packing recommendations?
I love that shirt. you have had it on in a few videos in your tenure and every single time I'm like "dang, I need that shirt.." Love the content...all of it
Great choice on airline to build status with-every airline can have issues any given day but Delta is the best option these days when it comes to consistency 👍🏻 Get tsa precheck you’ll love it-Your Amex card may even pay for it!
Wise choice on DELTA Adam .. .. After decades of flying UA, there is a marked difference between the Union-heavy carriers of UA & AA, compared to DL .. .. Over time, there are less delays, less baggage problems, less equipment problems and the staff is friendlier .. .. One example --->>> An union carrier like AA & UA has a stiff hierarchy routine and not all employees have the authority of making customer service decisions whereas a good bit of DL agents have that authority! Over time, you'll be much happier flying on DL .. ..You'll notice a difference!!
@@Delicate-Sound-of-Thunder True but gotta make the best of what you've got .. .. In the end all that matters is that you land in one piece and I would trust a US airline to do that 100% of the time over any foreign carrier!!
@@Samminish I avoid U.S. airlines if I can. There is a reason no U.S.-based airline cracks the top 10 or even the top 20, I believe. I fly business class, and U.S. airlines are my last choice mainly due to their service. I'm forced to fly United tomorrow, and while their business class seats are comfortable, the food is subpar. Unless there are flight attendants on from other countries, the service kind of sucks as well. Of course, I am making a general statement about flight attendants, but on average, American flight attendants are the worst!
