The only thing about these style of colours, is that they look like wraps. I personally would much prefer a traditional metallic paint job. But each to their own, and best of luck in the future 🤙
Stunning Colour! Apparently the reason why the M2 isn't available in "individual" colours just yet is because the plant in San Luis Potosi is preparing for that at the moment, however I have no doubt, that it will look absolutely stunning in just about any colour!
One thing people do not realize, if you do not get the interior carbon package, you do not get the really nice, long carbon fiber paddle shifters, you get the short standard ones.
I never understood the hate that people gave the redesign from most of the BMW models (people were huge fans of them as is), but I really like the way they accentuated some of the body lines and panels. If I could afford one I'd totally have this one. Excellent choice on the paint option... this M2 is freaking beautiful. Good job on the spec RBR!
WHOA!! I’ll be placing my order soon here in Los Angeles, CA. I don’t see any frozen paint on the configuration. Hopefully we get that option in the US. Looks stunning mate.
Congrats! BMW M really worked wonders with their g platform. Used to own a f80 M3 CS and my g80 xdrive was night and day better. Now im in a g87 and think I prefer the M2 slightly over the M3. Just a little more sporty and nimble.
Don't buy the M Performance parts.. they are either overly expensive or makes the car look horrible. I would search out to other companies such as Adro, TRE, Maxton etc.. for exterior pieces.
I polished an apple for my teacher because the gloss looks a million times better! That was as a child but as an adult, glossy black or blue is the best!!!! Can you put a gloss coat on it, I would.
are they doing the individual paint colors now or is this just a one off? are they also offering this in the usa? if so i am about to go down to the dealership and order one.
Stunning car, picked mine up 3 weeks ago; love it! I don’t like any of the M performance parts; like the TRE rear spoiler and it desperately needs the IND painted center grill bumper trim. And an upgraded stereo; already did mine; sounds amazing with the Bimmertech amp and a sub amp and trunk sub.

Well tonight I was configuring one for a potential purchase….i was thinking white as a homage to my 1986 325i Sport with the brown seats….i found the Track seats too awkward to use so would avoid those plus none of those daft “claws” etc. seeing yours…maybe flat blue then but with brown…maybe…and all the other stuff! I just bought a RS5 Vorsprung coupe a few months ago! & bought a new Tudor BB GMT S&G & an AP Code 11:59 in rose gold in the last two weeks...& bought a new (2021 Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost Hybrid mHEV) car for my gf last month. All paid for with cash, no finance...& Raz makes *me* feel poor! Btw if you think those seats are difficult to exit here...just wait til you park next to a high kerb! 😁
Never thought an AMG junkie would slowly appreciate BMW Ms more and more! I liked both so this is very promising how you would enjoy these cars in the future, especially the M2 as Audi or Merc didn't have one
Nice video, and happy for your new M2. Love the color. Unfortunately, I've been searching for a manual M2/M3 to test drive for months now. Eight official dealerships and one BMW group-owned dealership in my area don't have own cars or pool cars with a manual gearbox (no M2, no M3). Even after sending three emails to BMW, I haven't had any success. The experience here is even worse, with auto-generated replies that tell me I should go to a local dealership and that they do not print any info material anymore (which i haven’t even asked for). Currently, the car buying experience in Germany is not something I can recommend to someone else. At the moment, I have the impression that BMW doesn't want to sell cars with a manual gearbox (despite promoting it on RU-vid and even through their engineers). Maybe I'm just not the right type of customer, and BMW expects customers to spend 80,000€ or more without being able to test that type of gearbox. I don't know, but right now, I'm more than disappointed.

Best color in the M2 by far, nothing comes close! Congrats. I am a huge blue fan and have a 2 series in Estoril blue, the other blue available for the M2 is not at all my cup of tea….
Looks great! I wanted one, but dealers jerked me around with markups and withholding allocations so much for months that I gave up and just bought a 10 year old 911 C2S and a Bronco Wildtrak instead.
These 3 colors are BEAUTIFUL. This one Frozen Gray and the matte white (don't know what the name is). Also, it would look sick in the matte green that is on the M3s usually. Also, in manual would be impeccable as well. LOL. Congrats!
Being that this will be the last manual BMW makes, I feel I need to get the manual and keep it forever in the collection. Any direction on why you chose to go with the automatic?
Congrats but we all know frozen Portimao was the i4 launch color 😤😉. Yes the Cognac goes so good with the Portimao. Love it on my i4 M50. yes gave me the tingles when it said Nearly Yours 😍 when the car was on its way.
Got frozen portimao blue as well, lovely but definitely would not recommend, maintenance is a nightmare and any scratch or swirl is a respray. Honestly better of getting bog standard white and doing a high quality wrap in that colour
you can't swirl a frozen paint lol, scratches are definitely a issue though but you should just PPF the front end ceramic coat the rest and accept that cars are use items and will accumulate wear over time
I love this car and plan on buying one. The Carbon Fiber seats are pretty fire but there is no way in hell I am paying an additional 7k for seats when they probably are not even more comfortable then the standard seats and I don't care about shaving .05 off from a drag time.
Hi, I'm looking at buying one new, but I'm pretty sure BMW don't allow external finance brokers. How did you manage to use Charles and Dean on this? Do BerryBMW allow for you to use your own finance broker on new cars?
Good luck with driving it in the UK in winter or even summer when it's wet all that power through the rear wheels only, needs 2b 4wheel drive unless u want to end up in a ditch or worse!!! Take care!!
Just got my Toronto Red G87 and I will be getting front splitter and front bumper intakes from m performance parts and a rear spoiler offcourse but not completely convinced to get m performance one I like other aftermarket options more.
A couple of downsides here: - Don't like the purple appearance of that color - Would stay with Frozen Grey. - Don't like the concept of having crucial functions operated via Touch - I had the brown seats in another BMW and I would have wished a darker brown tone - The iPad like screen does not fit into the rest of the very nice dashboard. It looks incomplete Safe Driving and have a lot of fun with the bullet...
This is definitely the best color for it. Baby blue certainly doesn't work. This car needs darker colors. The design has grown on me, the only thing I don't like is the rear lights. Hoping for a fix on a LCI model.
Great Spec! I was a huge fan already of the baby blue and the grey with the M performance parts. Seeing yours now and also the soon to see frozen grey like you said I think this really is a statement car. I really want to know later, monthly finance cost/ running cost of owning one after a month.
looking forward to the M2 contend, because I'm planing to order one next year.Will be interesting to see how to get rid of the "bongs",which drove me nuts,when I tested the M2.
so I don't get it. the newer g87 m2 has more numb steering; a less responsive transmission (than prior generation DCT) because they want smoother ride. Remind me why they want to get an M car again?
Nice 1 Raz, great to see your enthusiasm for the new M2. I picked mine up on 20th November and have already had the running in service done @1.2k and full PPF, thank goodness after the awful weather recently. Definitely a car to used daily with excellent practicality without being oversized, This will go down as an E30 M3/ Golf GTi moment in car history. Keep up the great content. Always loved the AMG stuff, but BMW are on top of their game right now.

Looks sweet except for the ridiculously tiny trunk “spoiler” that BMW loves on their M cars and the cheap-looking hood seam right behind the roundel. Please go back to the E46 style hood with the grill captured.
Great review. The frozen blue looks spectacular👌🏼 Please don’t put all that Lego exterior bits on your beautiful M2. In my opinion, that red M2 looked hideous. On the interior….the way the centre display is attached to the top of the dash, looks rather cheap and would be a real dust accumulator. In a car of this quality, I would have preferred a mounded one piece unit. I assume you’re taking your M2, to have PPF applied? Looking forward to your next videos on your car.
