My new DW 'Santos Rosewood' kit. The unboxing, checking, and playing the drumkit. Also, "Stayin' Alive", arranged by Ron and Bobby Jarzombek. DW Drums, Evans Drumheads, Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, Kelly SHU.
Bobby, Mark Zonder, Sean Reinert, Gene Hoglan, and Richard Christy, my top 5 most important and influential drummers. Super dynamic and creative. Oh, gotta mention Buddy Rich, so that’s top 6
When getting the George Strait gig I was worried that that was it, we'll never see any technical wizardry you're known for. By god, thanks for proving me wrong 😊
Had the pleasure of opening for Fate's some years ago in Altoona, PA. The best part of that day was meeting and chatting with you. I still have the Evans drumhead you were kind enough to sign for me, a treasured part of my collection! Congrats on the new kit, and all the best!
So glad you played with Halford otherwise I would not know about you. Keep going, master! You are are huge inspiration and your passion is as strong and real as ever! THANK YOU!
The cover is nuts... Just to let everybody know, see the sheet of paper on his left side? That's a DETAILED transcription of everything he plays. You can tell by the density of the notation, it's not just a roadmap.
That kit is amazing! Love it, and I also love hearing you and Ron playing any kind of music together, it's soooooooooo incredible. I remember the first time I heard Spastic Ink, game changing!
I know you are the best progressive rock- jazz drummer ever. You are the one who set the direction and developed a unique style of modern drumming using the classical school. This is a great success! Thank you for that.
Dude, you absolutely rock!!!! I'm not a DW fan at all and I don't like their sounds but your playing is absolutely incredible and ultra top-notch. I still listen to all your works with Fates Warning, amazing stuff. 🤘🏻
😂 I don't know you from Adam, this might be your regular way of starting a kit unboxing, but this is new to me....and I dig that not just the intro, but the whole thing is taking place outdoors.
it's still endangered (Jacarandá da Bahia); even reclaimed wood from demolitions must have a certificate of origin to hit the market. but in recent years there has been illegal cutting and trade of this wood, much of it sold abroad. We hope that's not the case with DW.
@@lizandromellosonor still offers this finish , especially on there teardrop vintage kits they make today.truly a very classic finish.!!!! Would love to see it with high gloss lacqure on it instead of satin.
