I use Redis for my variables and data I use in my workflows. I run both redis and n8n with docker.

Looks pretty interesting. Now I have a new hammer I need to think of some nails that it can solve. i.e think of some new use cases. Q: How is this different from home assistant or any of the other automation tools?

The customization is what really makes this great for me, being able to run custom trigger automations that constantly work is a game changer. You can even hook up home automations with like your internet or raspberry pi which would be cool to have it run automations that way. Lots of cool thing you can do and overall allows for me flexibility

Thank you so much mike that you covered fundamentals of n8n local to connect external apis. Every other video i saw didn't mention that, but you did. Can you also cover web scraping using n8n, scraping website like LinkedIn from local machine without blocking our own LinkedIn account. Can we use different ip address so that LinkedIn won't recognise us. There are some RU-vidr scraping LinkedIn without loging in LinkedIn
