Took me a long time appreciate it but "True Grit" is one of my favorite Iron Clad cards. once upgraded it's a great way to remove curses and status effects ... and those upper level monster LOVE to flood your deck with status effects!

Finally!!! We know you give your 354239 soul to the indie devil to play this game again and again Fruit. We were waiting for this video. ...and we love it of course.

2:30 You unlock cards for the character pool and some relics. There are 5 unlock tiers Unlocks are also score based and the better you play, the higher the score.

7:00 All enemies have the same attack every time. There are enemies that you know when you fight the first intent after playing for a while. There is always a patern or rythem. It took a while for the devs putting that in.... The days of Champ's execute were nightmares.

Iron(c)lad's deck has some fun mechanic's to play around with but they require really strong deck synergy. One of my personal favorites is getting barricade and body slam early, then just stacking good block cards. Body slam deals damage equal to your block and barricade makes your remaining block not go away at the start of your turn. Other setups that are ok are strength + heavy blade and perfect strike + any other card with strike in the title.

I probably need to re-prioritize my life if Mr. Fruit playing Slay the Spire is the best thing I can ever remember happening.

Was watching mr. Fruit then got recommended a mr.fruit. I am happy with my life.

A quick tip: Always try to use Rage as the first card during your turn so you can block from every other card you play. Also whenever the bosses intended to attack 6 times thorns will actually hit him every time he hits you so it does 18 damage instead.

Mr Fruit, I have a challenge for you! We haven’t seen this in a while, so I thought I’d throw one out: Destiny 2 Friendly-Fire Stock Knockout Divide up into teams and go into Rumble. Each player gets four lives and the last team standing wins. If you kill someone on your team, too bad; you just eliminated one of their stocks. Yeah, you gotta go on the honor system since Destiny 2 doesn’t have a stock system, but if you can’t trust your friends...

I always manage to reach the heart, but once it gets to that point where it gains a ridiculous amount of strength, I always die. I always forget to build the deck that has the heavy hitting damage for the heart, so good luck when you beat the 3 acts with Ironclad, Silent, and Defect! In the future, take the "next 3 combats have 1 hp", and get an early elite. Free relics.

Just an FYI Fruit, the unlocks just unlock cards and relics that from then on are in the relic and card pool in each run. They do not give you additional cards in your starting deck. Alot of the more powerful cards are behind those unlocks!

Mr Fruit! I gotta (custom game) for ya! Predator Mayhem clash, predator vs civilians. Predator: way of the wraith with 3 second cool downs. Constantly in spectral blades. Civilians: use whatever u want, no heavy ammo or supers, cause that wud ruin the fun Add whatever you want!

Mr. Fruit just a little tip if you take the three staring fights with enemy’s hp at 1 can lead to a free relic if you are lucky with the map

My favourite set is one where you get loads of daggers for 0 energy and it is very successful

I remember I was building a deck they let me attack a target multiple times while having cards cost 0 to use but having to sacrifice my HP to keep drawing my cards. I lose to enemies with Thorns everytime with this strategy 😂

Mr Fruit! If you're on a roguelite binge, you should definitely try Nuclear Throne.

Don't sleep on Whirlwind. It's not always a great choice but it's incredibly strong AOE, especially upgraded. First act is great for hitting as many elites as possible (getting early relics? Fighting weak elites? A+ on all accounts). Lots of times "newer" players make the mistake of over prioritizing block in a fight when they should capitalize on damage and guarantee earlier kills. Taking 10 damage one turn might save you 15 or 20 overall.

I'm glad you finally picked up this game. I think I recommended it back in the day when you played the Dungeon Run on Hearthstone. They've ironed out a lot of bugs with this game and it's getting full release I think next week.

Just a quick tip: check your map before you chose your bonus because if you can get an early shop then a gold reward would be very good or if you have an early elite if you have the one that makes all enemies have 1 hp in next 3 fights and you get to that elite before it runs out then it is an easy relic.

Fruit just a little tips for next time When u play ironclad getting alot of block is very good and always take hero powers especially the card barricade In the map getting as many question marks is the best way to go far because u get alot of chances for cards and relics I like playing the silent and building a poisen deck it kinda just kills things for you But good luck the game is extremly fun to play in spare time

I was on the fence about buying this game for a long time. I noticed it was on sale for 50% off on Humble Bundle today (5/27/2019) and decided to watch some videos to see if it was still something that might interest me. This video was what eventually convinced me to pick it up. I haven't tried it yet, but judging from this video, I'm betting I'll have some fun with it. And for only $12.49, even if I don't play it a ton, it's not too much of a hit to my wallet either.
