My New Favourite G-Shock 

I got mine just a few weeks ago and I love it, as you said, it is gold but not so much "in your face". I never thought I would like a gold watch so much. I like the "ridiculous" part also, a G Shock, made with metal...and covered with gold. Very nice review.

Can't believe everyone is missing that the Bluetooth ones, compared to the MB6-only, have automatic DST/summertime switching. The MB6 needs to catch the signal successfully at night for the change to happen, while the ones with Bluetooth run out of a database and switch to summer or winter time even if no sync is going on at that time. The feature is even officially listed by Casio. Of course, most people will probably not care, but for the more geeky ones out there like me, it's a nice added feature from the Bluetooth-enabled modules.

I own the silver and love it. Just picked up the black one, pre-owned. Great watches!

i´ve got mine today for about 300 Euro. It is a year old but only used very rarly. not much scratches or something. i love it and yes it is not as shiny as you would think of a "golden watch"

Great video mate! I did a camo metal mod on my g shock and absolutely love it! G shocks suit my lifestyle and the metal just adds a touch of quality to it that makes you feel like you’re wearing a more expensive piece. Think I’ll go for the gold mod kit next. All the best
