Yep. Hands down. At the moment one of the only channels I watch for honest reviews/thoughts with great playing, tone, and gear. You actually get to hear what the instrument or gear can do.

These guitars are awesome,they're basically like Swiss Army knifes,stuffed with lots of features. And they're not only good for metal,Joe Bonamassa actually uses them,check out the studio video for ''The Ballad of John Henry'',he uses an older JP for the slide solo.

Music Man guitars don't get near the recognition that they deserve. They are all precision instruments of extremely high quality. They have had a few well known guitarists play their instruments ... John Petrucci, EVH, Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, Albert Lee ... all well known for their chops. These guys could play any instrument that they want. They all chose Music Man guitars for a reason.

So I watched this review pretty much 5 or 6 times lol one can't get enough of your tone, guitar playing and this guitar. Because of this review on July 4th I bought me my first guitar I have bought in 14 years and it was the music man JP15 with transparent black finish I'm so stoked man thanks for your videos youre awesome

It’s so weird but I usually have no interest in this type of guitar or tones (more vintage, blues rock kinda guy) but this video is so enjoyable to watch. Your reviews are so great and you come across as completely genuine in your love for guitars and gear unlike a LOT of reviewers who are just bashing through 25 guitars a day and claim to love them all! Sweet! I had one original JP6 I bought from Manny's on 48th Street here in NYC back in 2003. It was mystic dream and had the original Dimarzio Steve's Special and Air Norton pickups. I sold it a few years later during a rough patch. Man, I miss that Guitar sometimes. I loved the piezos! 🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻

Rabea...get some of the acoustic IRs from 3SigmaAudio for the Kemper and use the piezo through those...it’s awesome! I have the Martin and the Taylor IRs from them and get great acoustic tones for recording.

Im a Music Man artist also, I run the piezo to an acoustic amp or PA, so it stays clean and teh regular pickups to the amp, clean sounds are HUGE this way sounds like 2 guitars and acoustic and electric, and adding a slight bit of the piezo to leads lends a snap like nothing else, but in my opinion this is the best way to run it keep the piezos clean and run through something full range NOT an electric guitar amp, same as play a taylor or whatever through a marshal doesnt work like intended

Tried the Sterling version at my local Guitar Center. Couldn't believe how amazing and fluid it played. Literally the best guitar I've ever felt. Speedy neck that allows easy access to sus2 chords and other stretch chords more traditional guitars won't allow you to access. The action was reminiscent of a nylon-string Spanish guitar. And the tone was flawless.

DividedByTime hey I’m not he used his fame to get nice gear that kemper is £6000 yes £6000 and I bet that JP is £2500 what gets me are the kids out there from shit backgrounds with loads of talent that won’t ever get anything nicer than a squire bullet it just gets right up my nose.......and listen to how he keeps going on about “oh I wasn’t expecting it”.......then why email them in the first place ....he knew they would give him one he is part of an influential RU-vid channel and that insults people’s intelligence so I’m gonna stop watching all of that crew they have all gone a bit commercial.

Mate, you are the most envious human beeing i have seen in a while. Rabea is definitely someone with loads of talent, so why aren't you happy for him having all of this amazing gear, so he can make the best music possible? Are you jealous of his gear or his talent? How is him having his amazing gear hurting "kids from shit backgrounds"? If anything, it inspires them to work hard to get where he is. I dont know from which kind of background he comes, but his "fame" definitely didnt come from sitting on his arse and complaining about other people having cooler stuff than he did. Pull yourself together and dont be such a sad human beeing.

There is the Sterling by Musicman models which don’t have the piezo pickups as well. I think they have a JP60, JP70 and J160

Awesome video as usual Rabea. This instrument is definitely a beast. They are extremely pricey here in Canada however. The only reason I won't be picking one up. You had me sold on it for sure til i saw the price tag at my local dealer. If Music man ever makes a more affordable version, I am all over it.

You can also use the stereo jack with "insert cable" aka stereo to 2x mono. So that the other end is the piezo signal and the other is the magnetics. Very useful because you need only one cable to get both the sounds unmixed from amp and pa/acoustic amp

5 of my 7 guitars are EBMM, I've loved their guitars since I bought my EVH signature back in 1995 (still the best EVH guitar produced IMO). Other than the EVH, I have 2 Axis, a Luke 3 HH & an Albert Lee HH (super underrated guitar). I haven't tried a Petrucci because of the flatter neck profile, but your JP15 looks amazing. I will try one soon. Your videos are always outstanding. You & Pete Thorn are my go-to sources for online demos. Thanks for the great content!

I’ve followed you since your RU-vid debut more or less. Such an amazing guitar player! Dear LORD you can make that guitar sing!!! Such an amazing and underrated guitarist! Well... you’re not really underrated though, cus everybody that have heared you knows how good you are. It’s more like you deserve to be more famous than you are. NOW! I could EASILY sit trough a 2 hour concert of just you doing that excellent piezo playing that you did in this video. It just totaly takes you away. Absolutely mezmerising!

Beautiful guitar Rabea, I played Musicman guitars for years and they are hands down the best made guitars I've ever played. I owned a Luke that I thought I would never sell but gradually fell out of love with the small body and shorter scale neck and sold it a few weeks ago. Your JP looks like a shorter scale neck too, and looking across the Musicman range they appear to stick to shorter scale necks. I would have loved to have bought another Musicman but the smaller scale necks are just not for me now. I would definitely suggest 'try before you buy' if you like the body size and scale you're in for a treat because they are genuinely some of the best sounding and made guitars around!

Dude you did an awesome demo of this guitar. Your playing style actually captured the beauty of the Piazzo pickup. I personally am not a great guitarist as yourself that would justify my need for such an instrument, but you're an inspirational guitarist. Enjoy the guitar. Your demo is something EB should be proud.
