Yes Thats right we are temporarily living in Durres Albania! Come in and check out our new Apartment near the beach! Be sure to subscribe! Follow my journey on krisp.travels #albania #travel
Great video. We have been in Tirana for nearly a year now. Our large 2 bedroom is about $500 + utilities. We are right next to The Grand Park, which I love walking in. But no beach, lol:)
Durrës is a nice quiet city. I do enjoy it very much. For housing… that apartment looked a little bit old style for $350 (too expensive 😅), but I guess you’re mostly paying for the location which is near the beach. Regarding gym memberships some of them offer monthly based bundles depending on whether or not you decide to stay here long term Byrek is amazing, try the tomato-onion one or gjiz(cottage cheese) filled one - to die for
Guys leave fast food for when you return back to US. Go for some of my country's authentic traditional food. You will like it. Also go for seafood too while you're in Durres. It's good. That Durres beach used to be the main beach during communist time and it still is although most Albanians shoot for Riviera beaches whereas Durres beach gets populated by Albanians from Kosova and North Macedonia. It gets pretty crowded during July/Aug. I spent a month there from June 15 to July 15. Enjoy your stay.
Hmm not sure you tasted all of our authentic food unless you crossed all of our south/southeast regions, and mid and north too? Kosova cooks similar but we have the edge and that is for a reason which is to long to explain but in short our ingredients especially in our remote mountain villages are heavenly then what's in Kosova.
Thabks for watching! Honestly it is SUPER chill mostly nobody wears mask here. Only place that had me wear a mask was the Mall. Other than that, most restaurants, shops, markets. Nobody wears one
