CONGRATULATIONS my Brother need more stories like yours to let folks know you work hard you prosper God Bless you My Brother keep doin what your doin I’m so happy and proud of you and your success
That's really nice it's good to see people prosper from good old fashion legal hard work. (not illegal hard work like some people do) I myself did 32 years of hard heat work in a steel mill, I was sweating like a pig😅😅😅
Fantastic Dream truck! I said the same thing, i should have bought new! Even my trailer has been a huge money and time pit lol. Congratulations you deserve this!!
What a beauty! Glad you got that model. Well made! I had a 87 t800 dump truck with a 444 Cummins, 30 years old and 1.4 million miles I still had to lower the window to shut the door. No water leaks. No drafts. Amazing. This truck could last u for a longgg time. :) happy motoring
@@clodbusted1776 I worked with a fellow , 0/0 with a t800 and he always lowered the window a bit when shutting the door so he didn’t Slam it or pull hard on the inside door handle. Keeps the doors tight. Anyway again enjoy that KW :)
Thats a good looking Kenworth W900L Aerodyne! I drove trucks for 25 1/2 plus yrs for a low back injury ended my career & never got to own/operate one & that was a dream & unfortunatly will only be a dream to this very day! You're lucky bud & very happy for ya. . .10-4!!! Your Peterbilt does look like a 359 model. Drove a few of em, lol! You take care & truck safe, man😃😎🤠🚛🚚👍🏻! Thanks for sharing!
I use to deliver new Kenworths and Peterbilts working for Active USA. That's all we did. Never drove a used truck as long as you worked for them. Delivered from Mova Scotia to British Columbia and all of the lower 48 states. Based out of Chillicothe, Ohio at the time where the W900L's were built. Use to walk the yard waiting for dispatch to get my next load. I was like a kid in a candy store. My favorite to this day is a W900L Studio Sleeper. Great looking truck and I hope you have many a great miles with it. Curious as to the color?
That's must have been awesome to be able to always drive new trucks like that. I usually don't like bright colored trucks but I wanted something that would stand out
What a majestic beast of a truck! Looks great 😎 nice fetting a new one so you know its been correctly looked after for day 1 too and you get loads of bedtime reading material for when you stay over at a show.
Goddamn that's a fine rig! I've always preferred the look of the Kenworth and I really dig the orange. Congratulations on your 15 year milestone and wicked semi! That interior is classy but I'd definitely need a CD player lol.
Fortunately you got it with a Cummins, those Paccar engines are junk lol The W900 is my favorite by far, I love the "skylights" at the top of the sleeper. Looks like it came with an Espar diesel parking heater, those things are awesome in the winter! Beautiful truck!
Awesome W900L!! I’ve had several myself with my first one as my profile picture lol. You can still listen to Danzig, you just have to add Apple Music to your phone and you can Bluetooth it from your phone. One other thing I noticed is your heat guards on the exhaust looked really close to the sleeper. Mine were the same way and after a certain amount of miles they eventually wore into the paint on the sleeper from vibration. So I loosened mine and pulled them out just a lot bit to keep from rubbing on the paint. Yours might be okay, I couldn’t tell how much gap your heat shields have but definitely something to watch. Beautiful Truck! You’ll love the X15. The Jake is amazing. I have a video on my phone of my 2014 W900L going down Lookout Pass in Idaho holding back 105,000 lbs at 40mph and not touching the brakes! Simply amazing!! I’m very happy for you and your purchase! You’ll absolutely love it!! Beautiful Truck!
Thanks for the tip on the heat guards. I'll check that out. The x15 is awesome. I thought the souped up b model cat in my 359 was a power house, but this thing blows it away. One thing that's going to take some getting used to is the turning radius. It doesn't seem to turn as sharp as my peterbilt. Both trucks have the same 265 wheelbase and the Pete is an extended hood so I thought they would be about the same. Hopefully it's not too bad I'm in ct and we have some tight intersections here
beautiful interior you are right its best to save up big be ready to work be smart buy a new truck to start unless you are very mechanically involved or know a good person that will work on your truck without ripping u off doing quality
Nice truck bud! Really. It's nice to see more Kenworth guys out there. I know it's a lot of money, but when I got my new '23 900, I got the Seattle Package this time. My '19 was like yours, still an awesome interior don't get me wrong, but man this Seattle Package really dresses these VIT's up even more. It can be added anytime and it's not a Kenworth option anymore. A private guy makes it now and installs most of them at the factory, but can send the kit right to your door.
The Seattle package is beautiful. My dealer didn't offer that. the black interior was hard to get too, at first they said only tan was available. I almost bought another pete but there's so many on the road and anytime I see a w900 they just look so cool
@clodbusted1776 They sure do! But like I said, the Seattle Package is an add on kit that can be shipped to your home. My dealer in Des Moines can get it. Just an idea for you.
i drove a t2000 back in the day that had a smart wheel, it sucked when you went to turn with the jake on and had to chase the button around to turn it off.
@@clodbusted1776 cool 😎 I know your a real professional I am retired on disability just don’t want to see you have any roadside issues with DOT inspection you never know they can be fussy about that kind of stuff good luck with your new K W W900L you will standout with that color for sure
Oh by the way I am impressed with all the upgrades the special coated frame the pickup Ramps behind the fifth wheel and the extra strap on your fuel tanks every thing you have is the way I would have specked out on that tractor excellent make sure to get yourself some Husky floor liners and checkout a guy called DIY Semi from Wisconsin just developed his own fuel network card might be worth looking into your living the highlife man
@georgewilson1184 thanks I figured since it's such a big investment, I would get it exactly how I wanted it. I'll check out diy semi and look into those floormats sometimes when I go to monster truck shows I have to park in muddy fields so some nice floormats are a must
@@clodbusted1776 😎😎😎😎😎😎oh I forgot to say here in the Midwest around Chicago when you order a new truck and want to go heavy just tell your sales associate “MICHIGAN SPECIAL “
Can not stand the junk emissions the cost of up-keeping that truck compared to a 60 series or a emodel or n14 there is no comparison!!! None! It cost this guy more money to run down the road! Its cheaper to restore a classic and the classic is more dependable!
That's the only thing I'm worried about. A lot of people tell me to sell my 359 but I'm hesitant because I know the b model cat that's in it will run for a long time and no emissions equipment or check engine lights
HOW do you buy trucks from a dealer and expect to make a profit on them?? Maybe they couldn't sell it because guys have gotten smart and refuse to be IN this BS business!! So the dealer gives you 20k off and you make 10k??
Do you know what if you don’t like the business get out. There’s a lot of really good money to be made even in this market. If you’re willing to do your own research set up your own direct shipper contracts find a niche and offer them something that nobody else is I’m hauling for four dollars or more a mile right now, I don’t have to wait for detention. I give them 30 minutes and charge him 100 bucks after 30 minutes.
holy shit u must suck at money, stfu. work hard have good business relationships and dont be an ass. Its easy making 10k a week. you gotta know how to run, this guy clearly knows how to make it.
