The Theos T6 guitar has a chambered body made from alder, which is a high-quality tone wood used by many manufacturers because of its relative light weight and fine resonating tone. Alder has a subtle and attractive grain that looks great in any of Kiesel Guitars' many finishes, including solid colors, translucent finishes and our metallic solid finishes. Although alder is the standard wood, optional woods such as swamp ash, maple, mahogany, walnut and koa are available, all of which have their own tonal characteristics. A 4A flamed maple top with natural body binding is standard, or you can choose other select exotic top woods, such as AAAA quilted maple, flamed koa, and California Claro walnut. All of the Custom Shop's neck and fingerboard woods undergo a long conditioning process in our de-humidification chambers to remove any stress in the wood and prevent future warping or twisting, and our woods are carefully hand-selected and inspected to ensure your new Theos will be free of natural defects.

The T6 has a roasted eastern hard rock maple with a tung oil finish for smooth, fast playing. If you like, you can choose from any of Kiesel Guitars' 3, 5 or 7-piece necks, or our roasted flamed maple or roasted birdseye maple necks. Our tilt-back headstock eliminates the need for a string tree, and creates crisp open notes. The headstock is topped in AAAA flamed maple which matches the body finish, or you can select other woods such as AAAA quilted maple, flamed koa or any of our other exotic woods to match your top wood. The new GT-style inline headstock is standard, but you can also choose a inline pointed headstock, or a reverse version of either. The graphite-teflon nut is precision-cut, and allows the strings to move smoothly without binding.
The T6 features a standard 25.5" scale roasted maple fingerboard with white pearl dot inlays, a 14" radius and 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets. You can choose from a wide assortment of fingerboard options, including royal ebony, maple, birdseye maple, bloodwood, flamed maple or zebrawood fingerboards; dot, block, diamond or signature inlays in mother-of-pearl or genuine abalone along with blocks or diamonds in black acrylic; and fingerboard radii of 10" or 12". Medium-jumbo stainless steel frets are standard; Kiesel Guitars also offers a number of other fretwire options, including jumbo stainless and gold EVO. The "Rapid Play" low action neck assures effortless playability throughout the entire fingerboard, while the deep lower cutaway and sloped neck heel allows easy access all the way up to the 24th fret. The fully-adjustable dual action truss rod allows you to set the action exactly the way you want it, and dual carbon-fiber reinforcing rods make the neck remarkably stable. Our fully-computerized CNC machinery guarantees a neck pocket which the bolt-on neck will fit perfectly in to, increasing stability and sustain.
The standard, fully-adjustable Hipshot hardtail bridge provides the ultimate in sustain. We also offer the popular Kiesel-designed Hipshot X Tremolo or Gotoh 510 tremolo. Kiesel Guitars locking tuners are standard, which have an ultra-fine 19:1 tuning ratio. Standard hardware is chrome, with gold or black optional.
The T6 is equipped with Kiesel Beryllium humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, and optional single-single-humbucker (SSH) and single-single-single (SSS) configurations are also offered. Controls consist of a master volume and tone control with a 5-way blade pickup selector.
