@@9Gravesend Probably not washable but cleaning it with a clean cloth thats a bit wet should be fine. Just be careful around the edges and the control box.

They either need to have it as a 2 USBs so the light spreads evenly or put it at the top. It's cool still but a bit disappointed.
Yeah the mouse mat is beautiful so it is, I mostly have all steel series products and everything matching, the same colour is honestly so beautiful not gonna lie haha. But hope you enjoy it! Also what kind of desk do you use? Looking for a new one also thinking of adding drawers as well.
Awesome! I was thinking of picking up the rival 650 wirless mouse at some point as well actually, it looks really nice. I'm using an IKEA combo thing... So it's a 98 inch IKEA karlby kitchen worktop, sat on top of 2 IKEA alex drawers. They do the worktop in a few different colours, it was the biggest tabletop I could find cos triples take up soo much space haha - Yeah I like having drawers, extra storage and they kinda help with cable management! :D
@@TechTesseract Yeah I have the wired version and of course I'm going to get the smaller rgb mouse mat as well to sync with everything and also will be getting the wireless at some point, it looks much better wireless I'd say. Thanks for the info and yeah I've been struggling to find a decent desk since I'm moving my set up closer to my wall and use dual monitors so might go for a white version since everything in my room is gonna be white soon lol. Yeah I need more storage space in my life, I have a set of old ass wooden drawers with limited space, it sucks haha.
The fact you think 30 degrees is hot just shows how British you are. I'm Australian and in the summer we constantly go weeks on end with it getting over 40-44 everyday!
A. You have air conditioning in your houses B. Our houses are designed to trap as much heat as possible. I'm filming in a loft/roof space and the actual room temperature reached 45 degrees. Hope that clears things up.
Tech Tesseract not to argue with you. But a large percentage of Australian houses built before 1990 don’t have air conditioning. Most Australians just rough it out with fans only. But we are used to it.
great one Josh. I saw this on amazon thinking how does it have 2 colors, immediately once I clicked this I figured it out. I used to use the hard surface firefly then went to the razer version of this which annoyed me because it could only be one color at a time and looked shit with all my other razer products on wave effect. I still have to live with my single-colored hue strip. now I scrapped RGB mouse mats and use a 42cm squared one
But you're houses weren't designed to trap as much heat in as possible lol :D My office was crazy hot this year. I'm technically in a roof space so the heat from the rest of the house just gets trapped in my office. Even my PC shut down one day lol 😂

Bought this and zone 1 didn’t work at all. Bottom right was really dim as well. Sent it back, got a replacement and the whole right side of the mat is really dim. Sent that back as well and now I fear this is how it’s meant to be... either way, it looks absolutely nothing like the stock photo so I am hoping this was genuinely faulty.
@@earlraglin4597 I ended up returning both and buying a cheap one off Amazon. So much better than Steelseries one it's insane. Save your money and get a cheaper one!
The reason it's dimmer on the right is cos the LED's are only on the left side of the mat. They bounce the light from each LED through the clear plastic tubing so naturally it gets dimmer towards the right side. I got used to mine, though it would be cool if they could physically have LED's all the way round

This mousepad is super inconsistent. I bought one, then bought my roommate one, it was extremely dim on most parts, exchanged it for another and that one was even dimmer and like a big piece of bacon that wouldn't flatten out. You have to get lucky on this
How does the strip look when it’s set to pure white? Is there any sort of tint to it, and if so, can it be corrected by setting it slightly to a pale color? I have a bunch of rgb accessories but I find that I really prefer how all the LEDs look when they’re just white.
I have a Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma, but it messes with my iCue when I have both running at the same time. Ran into any problems with SteelSeries & iCue?
Hi, great video, I was just wondering if there's any options to sync peripheral RGB lighting from different brands? I'm looking at a Corsair keyboard and logitech mouse and headset with this SS mousepad 😰 I'm assuming there's no way but I just thought I'd ask.
I got the smaller prism mousemat. My problem is that my computer keeps seeing it was a speak device and keep selecting it has a speaker, which obviously don't work
My question is, how to CLEAN it? I have an older Steelseries QcK XXL one, and I just throw it in the clothes washer, it's great. Can't do that with this one, right? Cuz that USB thing is fixed, innit?
damn! it would be cool for me if its have a Music reactive mode or chase effect or even better having screen sampler like the logitech light effect preset!.. for now its just like another ordinary rgb mouse mat..
gabriele danielson steel series has generally high quality products, I have their headset and mouse, I don't have this mouse pad but I would recommend this.
Is there a reason why you have to keep the "left side" on the left? It seems like you could just rotate the mat & then the cable would be on the right-hand side
I dont know what's going on with this mat but its pathetic. I have issues with the "2 zones" they not showing color's correctly. In 1 week I've ordered 2 of them, all the same issue. And at the end/right side the light is not bright enough to see it in the daylight
The light is fired from LED's on the left hand side of the mat - the light travels through the clear tubing to the opposite end of the mat, hence why the right hand side of the mat is dimmer. I can still see mine in daylight no problem though. What's wrong with your zones? There should be 2 LED's in total.
