I have a syncro and I can't get this method working because the swing arm won't drop low enough for me to get the spring in. I've tried compressing the spring with jack straps (danger!) but still can't get the spring in there. Do I need to loosen the drive shaft or how should I do this? I am now parked over my landlords parking spot with no spring on one of the back wheels...
@@TheCampervanBuilder This is what I did but it was still a very tight fit. I habe the short wheel base syncro so maybe it is just a bit more difficult. I managed to get the springs im by twisting them as I slid them up and then I managed to just get over the lower knub. Car was moved and landlord is happy, so am I. Thanks for the helful video.
