1st thank you all for helping me reach 300k subs, so lets celebrate it by opening up a new work space for us to work on projects together, I am hoping to get back up to 3 videos a week, by having several projects going at once, and not having to break them down off the lift while waiting for parts.

Mustie1, I came across your channel while trying to diagnose an oil leak from the rear of a Kawasaki FC420V 14 Hp. Knowing little of engine repair I searched and found your videos. I have to say that I’ve learned more in the last 4 months about small engine working and repair than I ever thought I’d need. You remind me of the great teachers in high school that could and often did change a student’s life. Someone who enjoys what they do and sharing that knowledge with others. Try not to be overwhelmed by the move to the dream garage, you put in your time and you’re worth it. I’ve got you by 6 years and keep up the good work. I plan to continue learning from you after (if?) I retire. As far as that oil leak, I think it’s the balance weight support shaft o-ring. I’m currently deciding how to remove the support while keeping the weight from shifting. Engine is still attached to a Scag walk behind, so positioning is limited. I also disassembled the carburetor cleaned all the jets and reinstalled it to stop the gas from leaking into the cylinder. Thanks to you for that. I never would have tried it if I hadn’t seen your vids. Stay safe.

Know what you're missing? A little kitchenette. Someplace where you can make coffee, reheat something you brought from home for lunch, store sandwich fixin's and keep cold beverages cold. A mini-fridge, small microwave, a few shelves, a small table and chair (and a coffee maker) set up somewhere where they'll stay clean. You can probably find most of them at garage sales. You may have to build a small partition out of 2x4s and plywood to separate the kitchen from the rest of the shop and possibly run power to it, but it would beat having to drive home and back every time you want a cup of coffee or something to eat.

Great new workshop . Found your videos a while ago . We have a few engine powered tools mower chainsaw etc . Watching you do what you do in your easy laid back style , has given me the confidence to repair my own stuff . Already rebuilt an old Generator . Got given another one last week . Thank you .

You have helped us as much. I forgot that I could do some of this stuff. I have a sears craftsman tractor that was not charging and hard starting. My wife spent $300 or more on a one pull start self propelled mower that quit. I pull the carb, pushed little wires through all the orifices and soaked it all in cleaner. Once together not only did it start, it ran better than it did new! Same thing with the Craftsman. I replaced a diode with some old part from something I stripped years ago that had 4 x 7A diodes and now it charges. I was going to replace the coil at some $80 but tested it running and found the 49v AC as shown on the schematic so it had to be good. I would not have even tried if I had not watched these videos. You see, I was in the hospital in Feb 2017 and almost died from infection called sepsis, I didn't know my own name for several days, I knew my wife but didn't know her or her sisters name. So, most came back but lots of things didn't I need something to jog, like your videos and they did. Thanks so VERY much. I am a big fan and subscriber!

New garage is less homey, but a lot more practical. Looks great.
