Join me in this video where I explain the planning of my next layout and its baseboard and also why I am struggling to get to the next stage of the build!!
Good to see a new video mate and what a fantastic idea for a layout. I'd planned on something similar with my (now abandoned) Toton layout Can't wait to see how this new build looks when it's completed.
I would love the hop garden layout, but I'm in the same boat as you - no pun intended - for the time being, trying to tidy and rationalise. Looking forward to seeing the layout build, I must have missed the completion of the Compass Rose (Corvette)🤔😕 Good luck with the layout sale💜😊👍
Thank you mate, I reckon if our workspaces were ten times bigger we'd still fill em up! I also seem to work better in a mess which is definitely a plus for me! Best regards, Jason
@@jasonpierce-newmodelbarmy3394 You're probably right Jason. My shunting layout ('O' gauge) is at my dad's, whilst we've been tidying the garage, very slowly, for a year! Then the back bedroom 😕 There's - temporarily - railway stuff all over the house now😳😲😀😀 Your hop garden rly is charming I'm sure it'll go to a good home, I Iove your brewery layout too, if I can't incorporate 0-16.5 in my branch-line layout I might do something like your brewery. Looking forward to your tribute layout, I know how important such is💜✌️👍😊
May I suggest a solution....build a very simple storage unit for your paints glues etc. This could then be easily moved on and off your bench as required. Especially if you had a removable board that acted like a cover over your fixed layout. Then you could lift up your modelling bits store and place on said board whilst you work freely on your bench.
Good Idea. I built a storage rack for all my Valejo paints but unfortunately the door to my mancave is glass and south facing. the sun is no friend of paint pots!.........and I work best in a mess. Once the brewery has had its January outing I can really crack on.
