You are so right. Why dod he need to kill her with Machupa yet he could talk to Snakes. This irrational fear that people have was brought about by religion. The story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden has been twisted to suit some narratives. A snake bites yes, but why give it so much credit for all the evils of the world. We need salvation.
I agree. We can't deny her experience. However, I see a lady who has gone through so much since childhood. She needs to seek healing from past traumatic experiences. The Nigerian guy might have not been an angel but I don't see why he would want to kill her after living with her all those years, while taking care of her. Might be that the superstitions are playing in her head just because the guy is from Nigeria. In conclusion she needs to sort herself out, work on self( God is within), stop blaming people. She has come from far and shouldn't let religion drag her down.
