this was fun to watch. We definitely want more of Toms sister. She's a vibe. Always love it when she's in the video. You guys are definitely one of my fav youtubers. the honesty and simplicity is refreshing.
The expressions on the faces were too good!! But everyone was so respectful and were open to trying the different snacks. Dhokla is made with gram flour. Sweet paan is also a mouth freshner. 😊👍
I forgot to mention, try the Kheer/ Indian rice pudding. At Hindu functions, there are Indian sweets that are offered to the Gods. Kalpa I think knows them and could recommend because there are a lot of nice sweets to try.
Dhokla is a steamed savory chickpea flour cake. Sweet pan is a digestive (betel leaf) and mouth freshener in one. Nice to see your family so open to experimenting with a different type of cuisine. All the Best!
Barfi is not anything coconut sweet but It's anything of thick texture & diamond shape in which the prepared mixture of sweet is first frozen/chilled and then cut before consuming it as proper sweet. Malai is "milk fat" & not milk.
I love every bit of the video..to our wife Kalpa well done, to the trioz much love .I liked it that you never faked it.. it was all real ...God bless you all ...lovely Home ❤🙏
Hi Guys! First I have to say I love your channel. You guys are such beautiful people. Secondly, I enjoyed seeing your response to Indian snacks. I like them and I am of Indian descent but it is nice to see objectively how others respond to Indian food Love you Guys!
Your sister reactions are so real.. no fooling around watch youtube video on people trying fire Paan and Ice Paan.. your brother has some real taste buds.. he identified dhokla as chickpea and yes it is gram flour (chick pea) steamed and has a cake feel
Just stumbled into your vlog. First things first, your husband is a very attractive and handsome man. Your SIL is also a very beautiful lady. 😄 I'm happy for you and also a bit jealous..hehe.
So many delicious food. Tom is so dedicated to everything he does. They are really good with the explaination. Yum...great exposure to your type of snacks my dear. I would uv a hard time to chose.
You mixed up the Bhel Puri with the Sev Puri. What your SIL liked was a Sev Puri. Jangri is made with ground up udad dal (black lentils) batter fried in ghee / oil and dunked in sugar syrup. The colour comes from saffron food colouring. What you offered as Dhokla is actually Khaman dhokla and it is a steamed cake made of besan (chickpea flour). Actual Dhokla is the Gujarati cousin of Idli.
you must try JAMNAGAR'S SWEET PAN.. u never ate before it .. i bet you.. im living in Ahmedabad but maximum cities of Gujarat i visited.. Not try costly prepared snacks or sweets simple and sobber but amazing taste, its true
@@jyothipriya150 In Mahabharata, Draupadi invented the panipuri. After loosing their kingdom in a game of dice, kunti threw Draupadi a challenge .She gave her aloo sabzi and dough and ordered her to cook something that would satisfy Pandavas .In response to kunti's challenge Draupadi invented panipuri.
I can't believe an Indian can get confused between Bhelpuri and Sev Puri. It's basics 🤷♀️. Plus the pan wasn't made the right way. A pan has to be made the right way for it to sing in your mouth. Great try though! Hope they liked it :) Since they seem to like mumbai food, you should try giving them some more mumbai/maharashtrian snacks 💁♀️.
Hello Guys..new to your Channel.loved it..Will be watching you guys more.just for the record, you guys mixed up with Sev Puri as Bhel Puri and vice versa..stay blessed.. Love ❤ from Mumbai..
Hope these are all North Indian snacks. There are more snacks like Athirasam, murukka, suliyam, seedai, mysore pak, madur vada, Thirunelveli halwa. Pazham puri, unniyappam, punugulo, Chikodi. Few traditional South Indian snacks mentioned.
The video was great but I guess you switched up bhel puri with sev puri. Oh God..... The sweet paan part was hilarious though it's my childhood favorite😍😍😍... Thank you so much for this video.
Instead of making them try out so many puris which basically taste the same & then leaving out the good ones, try this list. I made friends from Paris, Nigeria, UK etc, during my grad course & I made them try these: Snacks 1. Jalebi w/ Rabri 2. Misal Pav 3. Tikki Chaat 4. Khakhra w/Chutney 5. Kaaju Barfi 6. Rasgulla 7. Pani Puri Main Course 1. Gobi Parantha w/Tea 2. Biryani 3. Kadhaai Paneer w/Naan 4. Uttapam w/Coco chutney 5. Dosa w/ Chutney & Sambar 6. Pav Bhaji
