I agree with the battery .... my D780 and my Z 6ii use the same battery. Makes it so convenient. I bought the Z50 recently because I wanted a travel type camera that wasn't a point and shoot. I also agree with the articulating screen. My first Nikon the d5000 had it and I loved it.

We miss. Z50 mark 2 .... And... BSI+IBIS sensor... USB 3.2 with C connector... Better video shooting with F Log,... UHS II memory card... A new pancake 28mm f1.8 silent for video autofocus... 🤗

I bought the Z50 twin lens kit that came with a Small Rig vlog Plate for $930 usd. I absolutely love it. *MY THOUGHTS* 1.Make Battery the same - nope, not for me if it makes the camera bigger 2. IBIS - nope, if it makes the camera thicker then NO 3. Articulating Screen - nope, I hate them, Looking to the side when shooting pics I hate and I don't vlog. 4. Spring door - yeah.. that would be nice. Agree I am 90% certain IBIS is coming in the Z70, but I bought the Z50 for compactness and cuteness. If I decided I wanted more features I would ignore size and go for the higher end options. Having said this I love cute cameras. Olympus OMD sizes, Fuji XT30, Panasonic GM1... so cute.

I happen to pretty much agree on everything you said. If I had to narrow it down I guess I would say en-el15 battery and either IBIS or the flippy screen. There is no excuse for the dang battery period. Every single nikon I own except for my D3s use the en-el15. Thanks

I agree with everything you said but beeing a long time Nikon user believe me they will never listen to you or me or anyone else, just because they don't care. Now they give us an even newer retro system but they forget to give us better lenses, better Z camera's, hope next year will be better when they moved production to thailand..

I would prefer no articulating screen. They are just another thing that can break. The screen is too small for any serious RU-vidr who will just fit an aftermarket screen to a cage. I would prefer a phone for selfies.
