I've got a review of Megan Park's My Old Ass after its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival!
Here's the official synopsis: The summer before college, bright-yet-irreverent Elliott comes face-to-face with her older self during a mushroom trip. The encounter spurs a funny and heartfelt journey of self-discovery and first love as Elliott prepares to leave her childhood home.

I want to check out this movie. I like Megan Park as a actress. I’ve haven’t seen her first movie The Fallout, but I will check that out too. I’m happy to hear she’s becoming an excellent writer and director. Thanks Perri!!!

Saw this last night. Can relate to this on a deeply personal level. That last hug between older Elliott and Chad. What I wouldnt give to be able to have that. Thanks for putting this on my radar, Perri. Wouldn't have watched it otherwise.

I agree, however, why you gave Aubrey Plaza's brilliant supporting turn such short-shrift is baffling. She was truly great! One of the most complex, honest performances she's ever given. Oh well, I guess it's all subjective.
