Ladies...there are health issues going on...it's not me and not my story to tell for at least right now but it's keeping me so busy I barely have time to film and edit so sometimes one video is all I can get out. I don't plan on leaving God willing I'm just super busy right now. I don't turn away prayers though I just am not at liberty to say WHAT you are praying for...but God knows right? Love you!

Hey Mary! I love this video! I still use Mac paint pot as eye primer. I still have the Buxom White Russian and it’s my fave. I had the tarte clay bronzer but I must have given it away. I went to look for it!😂 When you said SG was going to put My Savior in a single I went bonkers with excitement. Thank you, thank you thank you!!! I had no idea you were leading up to something. Hi Mary from memory I think I used mostly these items: Lancome teint idole (now reformulated and my shade discontinued) Benefit they’re real- still a great mascara Laura Gellor spackle makeup primer- still a really good primer and works under most foundations Bobbi Brown pot rouge and shimmer brick Bobbi Brown gel liner Rimmel east end snob lipliner- I still use this as it’s a great shade Bare minerals bavarian pink lipstick- beautiful shade now discontinued Brow powder Bare minerals loose eyeshadow A blast from the past indeed 😂. Some of these are still really great products although a few are sadly discontinued. Best wishes x

I never tried the sigma stick, but I think I would probably like it better cause I find the paint pots kinda hard to work with and they’re a little drying. I’ve got a few of them. I actually wear groundwork as a brown eyeshadow. But a stick would be easier for me to work with with my bad hands from my rheumatoid arthritis. And smoothing would certainly be nice with my crepey old eyelids. I’ve been loving the Genefique and want the eye serum next. Need to curtail my spending or I’ll have nice skin but live in a refrigerator box lol😊

Yippeee for the My Savior single!!!😃 Stuff I've used forever that I ain't givin' up: Albolene cream to remove stage makeup, Black Freakin Eye Liner at 63 Baby!!, and cheap eyebrow pencils like Cover Girl or Wet N Wild (tho my fave is Laura Mercier).

Just today I bought a small size of the IT cosmetics cc cream and a Neutrogena foundation because I keep a notebook with all the skincare and foundations and concealers that I’ve tried over the years. Both of them had asterisks beside them which meant I really liked them. I’m interested to see if I still like them as much. I’m still searching for the “perfect” foundation for my 67 year old skin. I’ve used Urban Decay for a very long time but they make me mad because they always discontinue my favorite things. I loved Midnight Cowboy lipstick. The one in the tube with the little sword thingy on the end. lol

Mary, I use the MAC paint pot(Ocre) on my eyelids and around my lip lines(because they're uneven) and it keeps my lipstick from feathering when I don't use a lip liner. I ❤LOVE❤ my MAC paint pot❣️ I remember using Coty Airspun powder...I'll NEVER go back(the fragrance and cakiness, is a HARD NO!) So, Im loving my Givenchy Prism Libre(No 3) and not looking back.🤣🤣🤣 This was a trip down memory lane. Have a great weekend. TOODLES❣️ Love ya, Kimber🥰🙏🤟

I never thought about using the paint pot over my lip lines! Thank you! I decided to go buy another paint pot after watching this video. So now I am looking forward to giving it a try over my lips as well. I still have a box of the Coty Airspun powder. I don’t use it anymore but I absolutely love the fragrance. For me, it has a beautiful nostalgic scent.

I missed the MAC Paint Pot trend the first time around, but late last year I started wearing "Painterly" as an eyeshadow base. This year, I started lightly tracing it along my lower lashline where I've just started to show a hint of blue in my skin. (I don't wear concealer because I've never had undereye discoloration.) That paint pot is perfect at concealing that minor color imperfection and never creases, and the shadows/liner I put under my eyes don't smudge.

I also missed the Paint Pot trend, but another influencer I follow recommended it as an eye shadow base, and it's like magic for me. Really! And I don't believe in wonder products. I'm also going to try your method of using it under my eyes to keep liner in place. I have very dry skin, but I still have trouble keeping liner under my eyes.

I use the Clinique eye base in the little green compact & the Bobbie Brown shadow stick in Vanilla. I haven't tried the Sigma bases. I'll have to put them on my list when I need a replacement.

Make up Geek!!!! I just rediscovered some of their eye shadow, and it really is nice. I got distracted with other shadows, but they were a good price and color payoff was great. But they are almost out of business sale on sight for one and two dollars. Glad you found your way, with what you are comfortable with. So glad for mature channels cuz I ain’t in my 20’s or 30’s. I repurchased the MAC Paint Pot in Painterly but I don’t like it as a shadow base for powders. I use it to even out my discolored lids when not using shadows :)

What a great Video, Mary! I really enjoyed this and such a good idea. I am a loyal person when it comes to my palettes. I have a Maybelline blush palette that is one of my all time favs. Also, I always go back to my Buxom lip glosses and Bare Minerals single loose shadow pigments have been being pulled out lately. How interesting that you mention that “Rule” about not putting mascara on bottom lashes. I have been telling myself all week to send you a msg about my neighbor asking for my help with her makeup. She asked me about it and I told her, “Anyone telling a woman that she shouldn’t or is not supposed to wear something based solely on her age, well, No! I dont believe in it! We aren’t 14 anymore! She actually looked at me and said, “Well…. Putting that aside… !” I guess I may have said a bit much! 😂She is very used to it!

I swear, Lancôme foundations are the best and MAC Paint Pot is fantastic. I love all the colors it comes in, just wish the pots weren’t so huge. It expires before I use it up (well, if going by the 1 yr thing).

Hi Mary, I started applying my loose powder with a damp sponge like you and boy what a difference and I have dry skin, thank you. Hourglass powders are the best for me, I’ll always have them in my drawer. I know how you feel, my husband had to get a lower bridge and boy was it expensive and insurance doesn’t pay a dime.😢

I have a foundation brush (and cleaner) suggestion for you... The Pinnacle Foundation Brush from Anisa Beauty, and their Quick Dry 2.0 (or the Sephore Dry Brush Shampoo, which frequently goes on sale). The triangle shape of that brush is perfection, and the dry brush cleaner lets you spray, wipe the brush off on a paper towel, and immediatley re-use it, or do the dry shampoo step first before washing normally. It's magic!

Oh yes they are very nice...as nice as any of my Wayne Goss, Sonia G and Chikuhodo brushes. I guess they should be though right they are all handmade in Japan LOL

The only cosmetics I think I'm still using from ten years ago are L'oreal lipsticks, OPI nail polish, and Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners. Last year I went through all of my cosmetics and updated pretty much everything, and I haven't stopped. I keep trying different things out, playing with new formulas and colors, and spending way too much money on makeup. It's an addiction!

I juuuuust panned (and I mean completely) my Tarte Park Ave Princess bronzer. If I didn't have both the L'Oreal Infallible bronzer and the Gucci Sun Kissed Glow bronzer (stunning if the whopping $65 price isn't an immediate deal breaker), I would've immediately gone out and repurchased it. Though I will say, L'Oreal did the thang with that bronzer. $17.49 compared to Tarte's $32 is ALSO something to take note of 💰

I am a mascara feind..I always have between 6 & 12 mascaras open at a time..I love combining different ones with either the loreal voluminous primer or cils booster to see how big & long I can make my lashes..these are the ones I currently have open in my makeup basket this month.. What's your secret? I saw the commercials for the veneers and I personally wouldn't go there. Does the concealer in the center of your lip, make your lip feel dry? I love your palette. Oh I love you girl! I'm so happy you can wear the shadows again and that you love that palette! The only thing I can do is use the sensitive crest white strips a couple times a year to whiten my teeth back up! I need to get some more coconut oil and start "pulling" again because I use to do that too but I'm not able to do professional whitening because my teeth are too sensitive

@@GlitzyFritzyyes, a month without eye makeup wasn't fun. Your palette brings me joy. I was one of the unfortunate ones who was given tetracycline as a kid. I've spent a lot of my adult life trying to obtain whiter teeth. I have had professional whitening, and have the trays, and yes, my teeth get so sensitive. I've heard that coconut pulling is great for your teeth. I just don't know I'd I have the patience to do it.😮❤😘

I need popmongie to be sold separately!!!!!!!!! I used to use Revlon Vintage Lace eyeshadow which was off white and mascara with lancome blush and I don't remember the mascara or anything else I used. I then moved into MAC and Lancome and now it's like Whoa Nelly how much makeup does one person need?!😂

Online ordering is hit or miss, in my case it's always a MISS. Sticking to what I know and like makes it a lot easier on me and less frustrating for my husband! 😁💖
